Body Problems of Nissan Titan - part 2

There seems to be a paint defect on my Nissan Titan on the hood and roof. I have mentioned it to the dealer since 2009 but they deny any blame. I now notice the exact similar pattern defect in multiple Titans. The clear coat is worn away almost down to the metal. I have contacted Nissan but they say unless there are enough complaints they do not have to address it. I realize this is not life threatening, but I wanted to lodge a formal complaint because it is a defect that will affect me when I go to trade it in and it is something that I notice with most other Titan owners of trucks this age.

The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Titan. The contact stated that the paint was more gray than blue around the door jam area of the vehicle. He stated that there did not appear to be three layers of paint in that area. He took the vehicle to the dealer and they offered him a trade at the cost of $3,000. The contact declined their offer. The dealer requested that Nissan send them pictures. Once the pictures were received, the dealer was unable to find anything wrong. However, they do acknowledge the failure. The failure mileage was unknown, but the failure began within weeks of the vehicle being purchased. The current mileage was 11,000.

The spray-in truck bed liner has already begun to discolor. It was originally black, but has begun to turn white in less that 3 months of owning the vehicle. Dealer said this is a known problem, but they are doing nothing about it. Nissan gave me the same response.

Water leak on front floorboards. Floorboard soked with water. Dealer advises leak was evaporation draintube,1. 5 inches of half inch id hose added to evaporation tube and reinstalled gutter. Rechecked ,no further signs of leaks detected advised the dealer. This did not fix the problem /11-30 -04 3rd time back for this problem.
