1 Starter problem of the 2004 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 04/23/2021

While driving for 20 minutes and I'd say 25 miles per hour, my truck just stalls the electrical system working, but no engine power! the truck just stop running. In my attempt to restart the engine the starter will turn but no start. I am now stranded in traffic and if it was not for good samaritans who help me push the truck to the curb. This happened twice in the last couple of days. I've replaced my battery and it died for second time! thankfully I was on the city street both times. Both times I waited awhile tried to start up with no success, but it started only afterwards getting a jump start!? the battery is brand new and the hope of finding the answer is websites at lease in the hopes of some answer and directions. Eve since replaced the battery I.

2 Starter problem of the 2019 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 01/01/2021

2019 Nissan Titan pro-4x while driving the truck, the battery voltage will drop below 12 volts (as low as 11. 75 volts). When the voltage is low I've noticed that the transmission is constantly hunting to find the right gear. Also the throttle control becomes sluggish. When trying to lightly accelerate it will not gain speed until the transmission downshifts harshly. On a handful of occasions I've experienced an issue where I can push the accelerator pedal to the floor and it would not accelerate at all. The engine rpms would slowly increase but the truck would continue to slow down as if the transmission was not fully engaged. Once every 2-3 uses of the truck it will not start and acts like the battery is dead. I jump start it and then it cranks right away. I've load tested the battery and it is still in good condition. The problem was intermittent for the first year of ownership but now is a consistent problem. I've had to buy a portable battery jump starter to keep in the truck because I keep getting stranded. This is also a possible safety issue because the electrical control system is designed to operate above 12 volts. When the voltage drops below 12 volts then it is possible to render some of the vehicle control systems (including safety systems) inoperable which could possibly result in a crash causing injury and/or death. I am a control systems engineer and have over 25 years of experience in industrial electrical controls.

3 Starter problem of the 2005 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 08/09/2014

Nissan replaced the ecu relay and front fan they installed a jumper fuse into the ipdm and now vehicle shuts down while driving now the vehicle wont even turn over. The battery was drained now charged when I turn the ignition I get zero response from the starter as if the ipdm was blown. The truck shut down while driving like 10 - 20 within a 5 mi trip to get back home.

4 Starter problem of the 2004 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 09/23/2004

Vehicle fails to start. Has happened on 3 occasions in past 7 days. Date below is first occurrence. When ignition switch is turned to start all appears normal except starter does not engage. When ignition is turned to on, headlights come on regardless of position of headlight switch. When ignition is turned to acc or off, headlamps will not light regardless of position of light switch. Dealer has diagnosed first as loss of security chip programming, second as poor ground connection. Repair attempts unsuccessful thus far.
