4 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 11/22/2014

My light came on blinking regarding my air bags. I took the vehicle to the Nissan dealership. They advised me that the air bags will not deploy due to a sensor that has failed in the front passenger side seat bottom. I was further advised that they cannot replace just the sensor, it will be $660 to replace the whole seat bottom. I contacted Nissan consumer affairs as I believe this is a basic safety issue and that they should assist with the fix. I have not abused the seat, it is not damaged or torn, it has not been in an accident. The only reason I have no working airbags is because the part Nissan put in the vehicle has failed. Nissan has failed to assist me and I still do not have working air bags.

5 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 10/03/2014

Vehicle hit the corner of another vehicle backing at 25 mph. Vehicle folded around other vehicle as if it was a pole, caving in the front bumper, radiator, condenser and frame. Air bags did not deploy. Suffered whiplash, cracked teeth despite wearing seat belt. Car was immaculately maintained. Car was declared totalled as repairs were in excess of $7500. Body shop, adjuster and dealer personnel all indicated air bags should have deployed. Photos and estimate available for examination.

6 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 03/16/2013

We were practically stopped, when we were rear ended by another vehicle. We were pushed into the vehicle in front of us. My hood was smashed & radiator was moved along with multiple others damage to the front of my vehicle. My bumper was pushed in. After the accident I went to my nearest Nissan dealership to ask about the airbags not deploying. I was told that u had to be going a certain amount of speed for the airbags to deploy. I explained to them that the car behind us was speeding and pushed us into the vehicle in front of us. My concern is if I wouldn't have had my seat belt on I would've been thrown through the windshield. Because with the impact hitting from behind I was lifted up from my seat. I still say there was a default with my airbags. Please help me with solving this issue. Thank you. .
