Ignition Switch Problems of Nissan Versa

My car shut off while I was stopped at a stop sign. The radio and air were still on. The car would not move. In order for me to move the vehicle, I had to put it into park, turn the ignition switch to off and turn the ignition back to on. Basically turn it all the way off and restart the vehicle.

I have a 2012 Nissan Versa, my car won't start. Everything will turn over, but the engine. You wait a few and it might. I take the key out and put back in and it might start. It has to with the key and ignition switch!.

Vehicle was parked when steering wheel locked up and ignition switch wouldn't move.

Ignition switch failure and key cannot be removed. Car can be difficult to shut off and steering wheel can be difficult to put into lock position. Safety concern with parking and leaving key in all the time (especially with small children).

The attached letter has all the information pertaining to this matter. The California department of justice, district attorney referred me to you. (the letter and information are attachments. ) I believe the ignition switch malfunction is a safety issue and I would like my money refunded.
