Windshield Problems of Oldsmobile Alero

Trim around the windshield of a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero popped out of place, and I tried to put it back in place. Everytime I got up to a fast speed, it would come back out and start flapping and hitting the passenger side window. Finally, it came completely off while driving on the interstate.

Left front windshield molding came off while driving.

Vinyl dashboard covering began to peel up at front edge, presumably becoming unglued in the sun. After a year, there is a lot of rippling in the trim and the length of the peel is about 12 inches. I observed the same condition on another Alero in a parking lot.

Rotors bad, brakes bad, wheels leak air, windows leak air in, windshied shakes, engine runs high temps and knocks, paint is starting to rust. Cd player is always shuting off. Dealer has not done a thing to help and my car is under warranty for a few more months. I need help soon.

Braking is not working properly, pads and calipers will easily wear down and there is a grinding nosie at low speeds, consumer has replaced the parts several times. Contacted dealer and they were not willing to do anything. . Also the driver side window chatters, there was a noise in the left front wheel bearing.

All of windows except driver's side window have scratches on them. Driver feels there is something inside door panel causing the scratches. Please provide any further information.

While cleaning snow off front winshield noticed a 3 inch crack from both sides. Dealer / manufacturer were notified and informed that warranty expired, and nothing can be done. Feel free to provide any further information concerning this matter.

Dashboard has a reflection in windshield that affects consumers drivng ability. Dealer suggested that consumer put a rug on dashboard to keep reflection away.

Top gasket or trim ring that holds front windshield has fallen off while driving at 65 mph on interstate. Consumer had to use duct tape until he reached dealer. Dealer will reglue windshield. Please provide further information.

Water is leaking in the seals, and windows keep fogging up. Dealer corrected the leak, but windows are still fogging up. Consumer states that dealer refuses to repair damage caused by water leak.

Windows failed twice.

Vehicle gets wet from water leaks that come from windshield which cause electrical equipment problems . Dealer has been contacted. Please provide further information.

Moulding for the rear window had to be replaced, also the power window regulator went out.
