Air Bag Not Deploy Problems of Oldsmobile Silhouette

The contact owned a 2001 Oldsmobile Silhouette. While driving at approximately 25 mph, the brake pedal was depressed but the vehicle failed to stop without warning. The contact crashed into a parking block followed by a tree. The air bags did not deploy. The driver sustained a fractured right knee that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. The VIN was unavailable.

: the contact stated while driving 10-15mph and turning left another vehicle ran a stop sign and crashed into the side of the vehicle. Upon impact, the frontal and side airbags failed to deploy. There was a police report filed at the scene. Although, all three of the occupants were wearing seat belts minor injuries were sustained. The vehicle was determined totaled by the insurance company. The manufacturer was alerted and is sending an inspector to inspect the vehicle.

I recently purchased this van from a and b auto sales in bellaire ohio. What I thought was the seatbelt light , turned out to be the air bag light. The light has been on sense the day I bought the van and the dealership refuses to fix the problem. I was informed that this van never should of left the lot with that light on, it is considered a unsafe vechile and if I have an accident the airbags will not deploy. Dealership knew this and sold it to me anyway.

While driving 35 to 40 mph hit another vehicle inside. Upon impact, airbags didnot deploy. Frontal impact. Consumer contacted dealer.

While turning, another car ran a red light and hit consumer on passenger's side of vehicle. Upon impact, rear door flew open, and airbags did not deploy. Consumer feels this is unsafe for anyone that may be riding in the back seat.

While driving 55 mph had a direct frontal impact, and driver/ passenger's air bags did not deploy which did not protect the occupants in this crash. Please provide further information.
