One problem related to engine burning oil has been reported for the 1996 Plymouth Breeze. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
On the way to work noticed smoke coming from the hood, smelled oil burning. Continued to work, and parked vehicle in parking lot. After work, saw oil on the ground, and put more oil in vehicle. Took car to the dealer. Was told that it needed a new head gasket, and that they were in the process of redesigning, which meant that this part was on backorder.
