Two problems related to wiring have been reported for the 1996 Plymouth Neon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The wirings, socket & bulb are intact when checked, could this failure and sudden wearing of the battery be related to the wiring harness recall? the recall job made in 1996 may not have lasted?.
On 6/18/98 the head gasket was replaced and subsequently failed again on 6/15/00. On 6/17/00 my a/c compressor failed to operate; private mechanic found a break in wiring harness.
