Cruise Control problems of the 1998 Plymouth Voyager

Five problems related to cruise control have been reported for the 1998 Plymouth Voyager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 08/14/2004

Air bag light illuminated while driving ,and horn/cruise control were inoperative. Vehicle was taken to dealer, who informed consumer that the clock spring needed to be replaced. Also, this vehicle was not covered under recall due to VIN.

2 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 06/10/2004

1998 Plymouth Voyager horn and cruise control stopped working and the airbag light is on it is now gonna cost me roughly $300 to havethe clock spring fixed. I feel that there should be a recall issued.

3 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 12/01/2003

Transmission disintegrated, wiper motor problems, and lost of horn and cruise control.

4 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 01/21/2003

When vehicle is started air bag light comes on and stays on. When air bag light is on horn and cruise control do not work. Consumer saw a NHTSA article concerning an investigation of these vehicles.

5 Cruise Control problem

Airbag light is on, there is no horn/cruise control, etc. There is a recall for the clockspring. Consumers vehicle is not included due to VIN.
