Plymouth Voyager owners have reported 13 problems related to front suspension strut (under the suspension category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Plymouth Voyager based on all problems reported for the Voyager.
Observed that the driver's side strut tower is rusted through two layers of metal and perforated over half the way around front top of the strut tower. Vehicle has little other body rust except this shock / strut tower area and there needs to be a safety recall to repair this defective item before further abnormal corrosion causes the metal to fail and forcing the strut through the hood and into the windshield of the vehicle causing an accident or injuries.

Front left strut tower corrosion, it is rusting badly and could fail at high speeds. There was a TSB a few years ago #23-044-02. I believe that because of this defect that affects 1996-2000 Mini vans my family is in danger.
Left strut tower head is rusting through and requires repair at 89,000 miles, 6 years in use. I just noticed it while hood open for other service.
Took vehicle to garage twice for noises in from end. Mechanic found rusting at front drivers strut tower and cracked metal from at least one of the bolts to the center of the tower. Mechanic said he had seen this before. Also said he has had a number of caravans with noisy front ends that he has not found the cause of noise, and has had Chrysler dealer ask him if he found a solution to the noise front end problem. Found others on the web with same problem. Canada has some sort of agreement with daimeler to inspect. Seems to me this is a potential safety issue that is hidden to most owners.
