Smelled an odor, fuel tank developed leakage around the "o" ring on vent pipe.
While parked on incline approximately 7 gallons of fuel leaked out onto ground, caused by improperly welded seam, dealer found no problem, replaced tank. Owner sold vehicle.
Recall still has not been completed after many attempts.
Gas tank replaced under recall, however fuel gauge not changed to new tank, causing tank to run out of gas while registering 1/4 tank.

Driver's side sliding door latch failed, door came open while driving, also rear window wiper blade motor failed and fuel tank was leaking on top.

Fuel tank manufactured improperly, would not hold fuel, replaced; subsequently, fuel started leaking from fuel filler pipe whenever full tank; dealer tightend clamp that holds filler tank to fuel line.

When turning off the vehicle one can hear the gas gurgling in the fuel tank, the tank has been replaced three times first time because it was deformed and second ans third times because of gurgling sound.

While driving at 55 mph consumer noticed smoke through the rear view mirror coming from the rear of vehicle. When this occurred vehicle hesitated to accelerate. Within seconds of the consumer pulling over and existing the vehicle, it exploded. The fire inspector indicated that the cause of the fire was due to a fuel tank leak. The vehicle accelerated from 55 mph to 85 mph on its own.

Seam on top of fuel tank came loose. This caused an excessive amount of fuel spillage. Vehicle is presently at the dealer shop. Provide any further information on this matter.
Fuel tank warped causing vehicle to stop while driving. Nlm.

Front motor mount very bad and engine rocks back and forth and sometimes jerks when coming to a stop. Heater doesn't work on all setting for air. Steering bad, knocks on rough streets and makes bad noise when turning the steering wheel. Smell fuel inside of the vehicle when putting fuel in the tank and sometime smell it when regualar driving.
The fuel tank is leaking fuel vapors inside the vehicle, cause unknown.
The gas tank leaks fuel after several attempts to get the problem fixed. Nlm.

Owner states after traveling a great distance and filling fuel tank with gas, noticed fuel tank was low. Owner took vehicle to shop to have it checked out and found out that fuel tank had a crack, causing fuel to leak. Owner also noted that the entire fuel tank had to be replaced.
#pe96-051, there is a gas smell in the truck, took to dealer who said that fuel tank is leaking and placed the fuel tank have full, taken to dealer seven times with problem .
While vehicle was parked on a slight incline hill gas leaked from the fuel tank. Cause unknown. Please give any further details.
When accelerating / making a turn, and the fuel tank is 3/4 quarter full, the gas tank rolls against the chassis. Dealer placed foam pads between the fuel tank and the chassis which did not correct the problem. Pads have been replaced twice and now dealer says that nothing can be done.
My wife and I noticed from the day we bought the minivan that the gas tank would not hold the 20 gallons that it should have. We had it checked out and found out that the gas tank is collapsing. We can now only get about 10 gals. Of gas in the 20 gallon tank. Is there a possibility of a recall to fix this defect in the product?.
Gas tank makes thud noise when accelerating from stopped position.

Recall 99v216000 was performed in Aug 31,2000 at doug smith Chrysler Plymouth in America fork, utah. Immediately afterwards consumer noticed that when filling fuel tank gas will leak out of tank into the exhaust area.
Fuel tank leaks when it is filled causing fumes to enter into the passenger compartments. A recall has been issued onthe vehicle make; however this vehicle is not included due to the VIN. The manufacturer has been notified.
