SAAB 95 owners have reported 1 problem related to clutch (under the power train category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer stated the clutch began to slip, after being told by the dealer that the only fix was a replacement clutch, consumer decided to inspect the vehicle himself and dicovered the clutch was wearing prematurley, due to the self adjusting feature of the cruise control switch which had not allowed the clutch pedal to travel in towards the cab of the vehicle, prior to this manual adjustment, the master cylinder constantly applied excessive force to the pressure plate which allowed premature clutch wear, however consumer does state that he really could not be for certain if this was the actual remedy, because the clutch was so badly worn, and also the dealer could not dertermine as well.
