Takata recall when starting the vehicle power steering light comes on and the wheel is hard to turn after restarting the car a few times the light went off and the wheel is back to normal. Now when driving the wheel shakes and makes noise.

No air bad deployment at all. My 21 year old son was killed. Ignition keeped cutting off.

My problem started with a left turn blinker, it wouldn't turn on and stay fixed. I have to hold it down. And if I would turn right it would stay down but when turn completed it wont go back up. Then when I start the car I hear it working extra hard and I hear electrical sound in steering wheel when stationed . . . Sensors on tire pressure was changed on the right. . . A year ago. . . But all tire pressure sensors still doesn't show pressure correctly. When breaking the wheel shaking badly after alignment.

I take my vehicle at martin Chevrolet on 02/22/2019 for the incomplete recall to be fix after a day my vehicle start having check engine light on air bag traction control light on tail light not working wiper blade stop working the consequence that any of the mention issues will cause failure conditions increases the risk of fatal accident I want all these issues to be resolved.

Takata recall its a bad thing that the power steering is electric so you can't monitor it yourself and when it's mess up in the middle of driving it's nothing you can do I was in motion on the highway switching lanes and the steering wheel got hard to turn out of no where so I pulled over and my power steering light was on I believe it has something to do with the power steering and electrical.

Doors to the vehicle will intermittently not unlock, either with key fob, or from inside the vehicle when the power lock button is depressed. At this time the front passenger door will not unlock or open, even when the lock is manually placed into the unlock position. This is a safety hazard due to the fact that in an emergency the front passenger door is unable to be opened, possibly causing an occupant to be trapped. The rear doors will not lock with the power lock switch or key fob. Those doors are able to be unlocked manually. This poses a security issue as the vehicle cannot be properly secured. I would like general motors to pay for the needed repairs to the doors/door locking system.

The vehicle has been in and out of repair for the same problem, engines have been replaced but no solution has been found. When driving around 60mph the engine would stall and �engine power reduced� and �traction off� would flash, reducing the car speed and making acceleration near impossible- sometimes multiple times in one trip. Car accelerates very slowly and causes traffic buildup. Rpm is at 5 (x1000)/min at just 30mph and the engine is making loud noises. Sometimes when stalled or at a red light the engine will cut out completely and the car will die. Almost consistently the car will rattle and shake in a pulsing matter. As previously mentioned I have brought it in to local repair shops and no one has been able to find a solution. Often times the engine is replaced but the problem comes back after a couple weeks.

While driving, my brake lights come on without the pedal being pushed and then will eventually go off.

At 64,467 miles, while driving about 45 mph jerking of steering wheel occurred and power steering warning came on. Went off again. Keeps happening as tho it is shorting out while driving both at low speeds of 20 mph to 55 mph. Afraid to drive the vehicle now. Electrical steering motor is shorting out. Have not yet had repaired. Fear this car will cause serious harm, injury up to and possibly death if I continue to drive it.

When in motion at any given time the motor going into reduced engine power and drives slow. I have replaced throttle body and the car still goes into reduced power. This is s safety concetta's I am afraid of getting into a accident because of this issue. I have researched this issue and it is a well known issue that still can not be pinpointed.

My vehicle has had electrical issues for a few months. The power locks will not work but, randomly driving down the road they will start going up and down and then in park when I'm not in the vehicle the doors will automatically lock but, any other time they do not work. Also 2 days ago on my way to work the power steering instantly went when I pulled into work. I parked the car and shut it off. When I turned it back on it was working again. I'm very scared of this happening while driving.

#1 (steering column) jars occasionaly when turning at slow speeds making it jar the whole car and also makes it hard to turn. #2 (electrical)power locks on every door but driver side does not work occasionaly. . . And passenger door sometimes does not latch and sometimes wont open when door is unlocked and car is setting still and or moving.

I took my vehicle in for an "electric power steering assist" recall. Drove it there, but had to tow it off because the shift cable broke. It will not shift into any gear, just stuck in drive. Also wont start now I assume because it wont go in park. The lock buttons/ windows dont work either.

Car riding fine. No lights then all of a sudden I get in from the grocery store and my check engine light comes on, traction control light comes on, engine power reduced warning comes on and car starts jerking.

Traction control button (triangle on dash) will display then gauges start flickering back and fourth like an electrical issue and then on display it says service esc and car will not shift into gears and you cannot steer or control vehicle properly with these issues going on. I entered my VIN because there are recalls for these issues but it says my VIN was not recalled. Once car is shut off it will reset itself I guess but it has happened several times now.

Driving the car anywhere my car would drive good then sometimes lights start flashing service esc, power steering, low fuel and the gauges starts going wild on the dashboard, and my car would start skipping if I don't pull over off the road right away. This is so dangerous to be on the highway people are driving fast and crazy and when your car slows down on its own it could cause a wreck. I have children and it's scares me because I don't never know when the car would act up. It seems to be a really bad issue with these cars I'm hearing would've been nice to know this before I bought the car. This is a major issue for a car to act this his out of nowhere. I've taken it to the people I bought my car from and it never acts when I take it to them put I've should them videos that I've taken of what it's goin, so they are not trying to look deeply for the problem. And I'm very disappointed this is the only vehicle I have to get me and my children around & the car is in good conditioning besides what's goin on with the electrical part. I don't know what all can be done about this but hopefully somebody can look into the problem with this type of car. Thank you.

Vehicle interior lights do not turn on when the vehicle is unlocked or the door is opened; also the passenger side mirror lights to not come on and the lid to the light/mirror is missing.

I purchased this car on 11/05/2017 and have experienced more problems everyday with the electrical systems in the car. My power locks rarely work on all of my doors. I manually unlock my driver's door and if I try to unlock the other doors with my power lock controls, some or none of the other locks will unlock or lock. This problem happens with the car being stationary, in motion, and on all varieties of driving. My seatbelt light on my dashboard flashes even when my seatbelt is on. This problem happens with the car being stationary, in motion, and on all varieties of driving. The tire monitor and tire pressure light are on at all times, even after having my tires checked by a specialist. This problem happens with the car being stationary, in motion, and on all varieties of driving. The passenger airbag goes on and off when a passenger is seated and wearing a seatbelt. This problem has only been noticed while driving for more than 5 minutes. The overall lights on my dashboard will dim, go completely out, and turn back on after driving for a few minutes. The trunk, that doesn't have exterior key access, sometimes doesn't open and has to be accessed from the interior via the backseats. This problem has only been attempted while stationary.

3rd brake light in fear window out intermittently and is known issue on Auras. Also headlight electrical issues and that is also intermittent.

The contact owns a 2009 Saturn Aura. While accelerating from a stop, the powering steering warning indicator illuminated and the steering wheel seized. When the vehicle was turned off and restarted, the steering wheel worked normally. The failure occurred a total of three times. The contact was informed by an eyewitness that the brake lights remained illuminated while driving; however, while at a complete stop with the brake pedal depressed, the brake lights were not illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer stated that they were aware of the failure and that there were recalls for both of the failures; however, the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign numbers: 14v153000 (steering) and 14v252000 (electrical system) due to the extended mileage. The failure mileage was approximately 166,000.

The contact owns a 2009 Saturn Aura. While driving approximately 25 mph approaching a stop, the vehicle stalled and the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle restarted normally after a few minutes. The contact also stated that the failure occurred three other times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (axel rod Buick/GMC in parma, ohio) where it was diagnosed that the total control module failed and needed replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 113,400.

Takata recalls. The service esc and traction off indicator light keep coming on. Several months ago, as I was driving home the dash board lights went off and came back on. Even the speed odometer acted up. Several months ago, the car would not reverse,it made a sound when I did backed back. Now, every time I put gas in my car, I have to keep pumping the gas peddle as I'm turning the key to start it up. The right front and side signal lights don't don't don't work.

My car revs up and starts taking off on its own while my foots on the brake, im at a complete stop, I have a hard time stopping it, I put it in park when im stopped now, it reves up while at a complete stop and takes off, 7 times now.

My trunk button only works on occasions and 2 of my door won't lock or unlock if it's hot outside. If it's cold all my doors work. It's crazy! I have to walk around my car locking all my doors. Although locked or not the alarm will go off. I have had to change my water pump 2 times in this car. I took it in for brakes & they're saying it needs to be changed again! there's no way I should be doing this. The water pump was changed twice by an actual dealership. This car has serious issues especially in the heat!.

Takata recall there is something wrong with the structure of the car there is rattle/vibration when going over 50 mph. Car has been maintenance twice in the past 2 years for electrical and break pad replacement and I'm still having a vibration and rattle sound while driving.

While driving 65 mph, the contact depressed the accelerator pedal and both exterior brake lights illuminated. The contact later depressed the brake pedal, but the brake lights failed to illuminate until the contact fully depressed the brake pedal. The failure recurred multiple times and at various speeds. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and stated that they could not assist and that the contact should pay for diagnostic testing out of pocket. My car has been nothing but problems since I purchased it. The moonroof has leaked and I have paid to have it repaired several times even though gm says they aren't to blame. The leaks in the moonroof are only what I can start to attribute the electrical problems to. I randomly loose radio controls, have buttons that don't work, cant use my key fobs after replacing them and replacing batteries only the "panic" button will work. What takes the cake is the reduced engine power light that came on yesterday and the service ecm light, nearly killing us on the highway. I get reduce engine power but with no warning to go from 68 to 35 in the high speed lane is asking for death. On top of it the more I've googled the issues it seems like this is an electrical problem gm is well aware of and never has done anything about from 2007-2009 Auras, there are a lot of people who say they've spent thousands of dollars at the gm dealership trying to solve their problems t =o be given no real answers. I am scared now to drive my vehicle again as the lights went off and it "seems" to be fine. I am even more scared to bring it to a dealership where if the lights aren't on they cant diagnose it, although it sounds like from what I've read even with lights on diagnoses' are poor and not accurate. Enough people are describing the same exact things going on with their vehicles how is there no definitive fix and why are people being sent back out on the roads with faulty cars. Not only that if 3 years worth of cars are having electrical issues all the same how is there no recall????.

The contact owned a 2009 Saturn Aura. The contact stated that the steering wheel was extremely tight and the power steering failed several times without warning. In addition, the shift lever failed to function properly. When the vehicle was placed in park, it rolled and the contact had to quickly apply the emergency brake to stop the vehicle. While driving 30 mph, a fire erupted under the hood. The contact was able to pull the vehicle into a fuel station. The fire department extinguished the flames. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was destroyed and towed. The vehicle was not diagnosed by a dealer. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 140,000.

This vehicle has supposedly already been serviced under recall campaign number 14v252000. However, intermittently, the brake lights illuminate without the brake pedal being pushed; the brake lights don't illuminate when the pedal is pushed; difficulty engaging or disengaging the cruise control, and crash avoidance features such as traction control, electronic stability control, and panic braking assist features become disabled. The date given below for occurrence of the incident is just the most recent occurrence. This issue can happen on a daily basis and has been returned to the dealer that performed the recall service but nothing is found to address the incident.

The cruise control in my 2008 Saturn Aura is not functioning. Service esc and traction control lights flash on the dashboard intermittently. Brakes lights are on constantly, even when the brake is not applied. I took my car to a Saturn-approved chevy dealer for service and referenced the NHTSA recall #14v252000 from 2014. The mechanics checked the scan data and found the brake pedal learned position data was erractic in the body control module and won't hold the settings. They checked the circuits and connections (and supposedly reperformed the 2014 recall repair) but concluded that the fault is in the bcm. They suggested replacing the bcm, at a cost of $600. I explained to the mechanic that I believe the failing bcm is due to the voltage fluctuations that prompted the recall, left the dealership, and called gm. A senior advisor at gm explained that they will not do anything about the apparent safety defect because the recall did not require replacement of the bcm.

While driving approximately 45 mph and turning into a parking lot, the contact was informed by another motorist that the brake lights were illuminated for approximately three miles. However, when the vehicle was stopped and the brake pedal was depressed, the brake lights were not illuminated. The contact drove the vehicle to the dealer and they could not duplicate the failure. The vehicle was repaired per an unknown recall for the same failure in September of 2014. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was invalid. The approximate failure mileage was 77,054.
