Front Suspension Lower Control Arm Problems of Saturn ION

The contact owns a 2004 Saturn Ion. While driving 25 mph, the front passenger side wheel became lodged into the wheel well. Upon further investigation, the contact noticed the front lower control arm failed. The vehicle was towed to a dealer, but was not diagnosed. The manufacturer was not aware of the failure. The contact owns a 2007 Saturn Ion. While the vehicle was being repaired by the dealer, the contact complained of a noise underneath the vehicle. The contact was advised that the drivers side lower control arm bushing and the rotors needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The current mileage was 22000. The failure mileage was 16000. 2004 Saturn Ion right front tire worn down to metal. Then right front lower arm broke into causing a crash. No corrections were done. Saturn CO. Said it wasn't a faulty part. Said part broke when hitting a the curb. Curb was hit because no control of steering.
