Please help! my key and ignition are burning hot, my car doesn't always start, the power cuts off, the service engine light comes on and off and when I start it in the morning the exhaust is super strong. Gm told me I have to pay a dealer $110. 00 to diagnose the problem that you have clearly defined and recalled in 2003 but I was never notified as the original owner for that recall. I broke my neck and am a single, disabled mom of a 12 year old. I do not want to be trapped in a fire or rearended and totally paralyzed or dead! what the heck is gm thinking? they said they only act on recalls if they come from you!.

Battery died in 2008. It was replaced and the odometer reset back to zero. The security alarm/ power doors do not function properly ( unable to lock with remote control). Security light stays on while driving. Cd player stopped working and fuel gauge does not show the accurate amount of gas. I have to wait until the light comes on. Now in July 2012, the ac was fixed due to a hole in the line and the car immediately shut off in traffic. The ac no longer works and is giving a code p0102 (maf- mass air flow -referring to low voltage). The service engine light is on along with the airbag, gas gauge and temperature needles not moving at all. In addition, the traction control is not working.
On 3 separate occasions I was driving and went to accelerate to pass a vehicle when the vehicle lost power causing me to put the vehicle into neutral to restart it causing the service engine soon light to come on and the vehicle to have hard shifting. The result was due to the failure of the O2 sensor which I replaced once with Saturn that failed 2 years later and 2 others refurbished that were purchased from napa which the first failed 3 months after installation and the other a month after that one was replaced.

The headlights and dashboard lights flickered intermittently while driving at night. Dealer kept the vehicle for two weeks, however the problem continued. There was a squeaking noise only when the steering wheel was turned to the left. The suspension link was replaced. The service engine soon light illuminated on the vehicle and the ignition control module was replaced. The driver side window skipped when being rolled down. The right rear brake light bulb had burned out, the windshield wipers went across the window half way before it squirted any spray and then scratched the windshield.
The service engine light illuminates due to a misfire condition and intermittent stalling without warning, the consumer is requesting full refund of the puchase price plus direct and indirect expences. Nlm.
