While driving the engine lights kept coming on, so we decided to get it checked by a mechanic and he told us that we have a faulty fuel tank pressure sensor and that the imrc actuator valve is not working at all.

Car power shuts down while driving, unable to start again in any traffic or road conditions to move car to a safe area. Full loss of power unexpected, vehicle simply stops running. This vehicle was purchased 'used' from a private seller I suspect was well aware of the situation but didn't expose it. $2300 spent so far with no findings as to why the problem occurs. Only an added 30 miles to the odometer since purchase. Present reading is 107,251.

Air intake throttle is faulty. Making the engine run rough and causing other problems such as excessive fuel consumption.

Vehicle hasn't retained correct amount of fuel. Vehicle has electrical and mechanical issues out of no where. Driver seat has issues that will not allow for the seat to incline but only recline which happened while driving on city street. I'm scared to drive vehicle and I've only had it for almost 2 years.

My keys come out of the ignition , I keep having electrical failures and my pipes keep messing up.

Cruise control excellent on it's own and if on goes off by it's self.

Tamara recall I got a recall in the mail for my 2004 Saturn Vue for the ignition I've called the dealership where I got it and they said they knew about it but did not tell me when I bought it. And said I have to take car of it myself.

While my car is running I can't take my key out also when I turn my heater on my car will jerk etc.

Air bag light will be on, or flash periodically when already fastened. Had an electrical fire in the left side of steering column 7/27/18. Cruise goes in and out. Dim/bright light comes on when using turn signal. Ignition switch locks up from time to time where key can't be removed and steering wheel locks up or you can remove key but switch is still engaged. Vehicle has been in motion when most incidents occurred and lockups occur depending on what position the steering wheel is in (adjustable). The electrical fire happened just as I exited the highway from a 30 minute trip after releasing the cruise control button. Luckily I was only 4 blocks from home. Cfd was called and they dismantled the column, extinguished the fire. I was blessed. This could have been worse!.

I was driving at highway speed about 60 miles per hour stepped down on accelerator a little harder in order to pass somebody and the throttle stuck wide open engine was racing car was speeding up. I tried to use the brakes but they were insufficient I shifted the car to neutral pull over and then turn the engine off when I start it again the problem was gone. I do not wish to drive this car until this is fixed.

When turning the car on;, the exterior and interior lights flicker,the radio turns off and on, the lights on the dashboard that show mileage flicker, power steering is off, windows do not go up or down and locks do not unlock. Takes 10-15 mins for car to stop flickering and power to be restored to car, before then you cannot drive it. Abs light and check engine go on and off intermittently . Car battery has died 3 times. I have been late for appointments, late for picking my children up and getting them from school, due to waiting for the car to stop flickering and malfunctioning. This has been ongoing daily, and it was not able to be fixed yet. I do not have a picture, but I will take pic/video if you need one.

Durning after purchase . . . My Saturn Vue started turning off during driving . . . Also turing corner now timing belt has slip away completly stop the car from runing. Or cramping and starting.

When it snows my driveway is on a hill and my car is in park it rolls backwards down the hill and ill look outside to find it moved from were I left it. Now for the last few weeks if I park at the store, school,job and get ready to go try to shift the car on drive when I step on the brake to shift it I hear and feel click sound and cant move the gear.

Gas cap causes cel to come on. Replacement caps fail to work. It seems a chronic problem.

"takata recall" my 2008 Saturn Vue has been recalled for 3 items, all of which I am experiencing issues with but according to my VIN number my vehicle does not apply for these recalls. I did receive a notice a few years ago but since my vehicle was still okay at the time, I never brought it in. The 3 recalls are as follows: 1. Latches/locks/linkages:doors:latch, 2. Power train:automatic transmission, 3. Steering:hydraulic power assist:hose, piping, and connections. My vehicle is currently at mike anderson chevrolett due to these issues but the only item that's appearing covered is the transmission. I don't understand how my VIN has anything to do with the recall when all the 2008 Saturn Vue's are made with the same parts. I would like an investigation to be made due to my vehicle falling under the recall category but not falling under the correct VIN number category. My vehicle currently won't allow me to go pass 40mph, my steering wheel gets locked making it hard for me to turn and there is a leak, also when my locks are unlocked the handles still won't open as if it's still locked. Immediate attention is respectfully requested.

We were passing a truck, then the throttle stuck and the vehicle would not slow down , we finally got it in neutral and pulled over. This was very scary. And now my electrical is all messed up. I am scared to drive it. I don"t have the money to get it repaired. I now have to take the bus or bum a ride. I paid $6500 for this car. . Any chance I can get help from gm. I really like the car. The security system resets it's self very often. I throttles the speed randomly and when you finally get stationary it locks up the fuel so there is no way to start the car untill you do the relearn process which takes 30 min or longer and your lucky if that works. Yes this has all happened to me. I've owned the car for 3 days now and last time it was driving was the day I brought it home after buying it.

Abs light remains on; my electrical system is faulty; my blinkers work at will. My fuel line sensor causes my vehicle to shut off after driving a distance. There is a noise when I reverse. My service engine light is now appearing and the wheel locks and hard to turn. Read the manual; vehicle does not require power steering fluid. Must contact a dealer per the manual. Will call today. First the vehicle has made a strange noise from the rear of the SUV. I thought it were just the tires but I took it to a shop and found that the bearings on all four tires needed replaced. Shortly after, we were stranded on a rainy florida afternoon at a stop light when the vehicle would not move. The transmission can go into reverse but no forward gear. Cost to replace/ rebuilt $2500. Oo, more than the car is worth. Furthermore the radio turns on whenever it wants to, it fades in and out of all local stations. Worst american car I have ever purchased. That is probably why they went bankrupt.

While driving car began smoking from under hood (at top of hood on passenger side. Car also began shaking not the steering column but the car itself. It had been shaking intermittently earlier but stopped and then began again when the car began smoking.

This vehicle has stopped a few times at a stop light, also when sitting idle it wont start sometimes.

Fuel lines are rusted out and leaking gas only at the retaining clips under the rear doors. The lines are not rusted in any other area.

My key sometimes won't go into igniton and once it does, it sometimes falls out while I am driving or the car loses power while I'm driving. Is this problem a part of the gm recalls for 2003 Saturns ??.

Bought 2007 Saturn Vue 2. 2l 4-cyl with 62,500 miles. Noticed raw gas smell most strong near the right rear tail light lens. Twice mechanics have checked for fuel leaks with no results and no real diagnosis. There are no malfunction codes or warning lamps illuminated. Worried about a fire hazard.

I bought this awd 2002 Saturn June 28 2013 from Toyota nation in buena park and even within 3 hrs of owning the car it quit working so I had it towed back I had traded in my 2010 chevy cobalt that only had 25k miles on it anyhow I ve had ignition replaced I had some other things spent almost $1000 already I cant get dealership to fix it last I replaced bcm and still not working right I ll be driving 45 mph and poof security light flashes I loose gas and it dies I live im mountains scary as heck with my kids im single parent pls help.

I came to a complete stop at an intersection. When the light turned green my car wouldn't move. I had to coast across the intersection and have strangers push my car into the gas station. I called for a tow truck company to take my car to the closest dealer and then I realized I could drive in reverse but not forward. The dealership told me my oil pipe broke, which I was told feeds oil to my engine. I can't understand how a vehicle only 6 years old with virtually no underbody rust could have a pipe break without anything hitting it. The dealership told me that with temperatures fluctuating the metal expands and contracts. But wouldn't other parts have issues as well?.

Strong gasoline vapor smell, dealer found fuel leak at fuel module molded hose. Removed and replaced defective fuel module # 1 - 15904477 w- pump kit charged $ 903. 79 gm on 9/30/2012 admits problem occurs in warm weather areas, admits Saturn's have problem, but not Vue's. Dealer claims otherwise? gm refuses to reimbursement?.

My car has, again, demonstrated failure to accelerate during operation. The car has been "repaired" by the local GMC dealer in oct 2011 and again earlier this week for the same problem. I picked the car up on wed evening, two days ago, and the same problem recurred today on my way back to the office from lunch. I do not feel safe driving this car! once the gas pump fails to operate, it simply will not move until the car has been turned off and allowed to sit for a while.

My car will occasionally fail to accelerate. The gas pedal seems to have no effect at all - the engine is running, but pressing the gas pedal does not rev the engine or cause the car to accelerate. Sometimes this occurs just after I apply the brakes, but other times it just happens when I am driving. The acceleration never recovers until I stop the car, turn it off, sit a while and re-start the engine. The problem will recur sometimes immediately and sometimes not for some time. The first episode happened in oct 2011. After 2-3 incidents over the course of a few days, I was able to take the car into the dealer. They merely cleaned the "connector to app sensor to pcm. " this problem recurred last week and with more severity. Initially, the problem returned last week, twice, but I was unable to take the car in for service. While driving out of town for business on Monday night, the problem recurred three times. While returning home on Tuesday, the problem recurred about 15 times during the course of an approximate 60 mile drive. I took it to the dealers upon arrival home and they said it was the same problem, but described it as "resealed all connectors related to elect throttle system. " they told me the problem was excessive corrosion on the parts, more than they would expect in 7 months, because of our location on the coast. Searching the internet, I have discovered that my problem is not an isolated one. There are numerous blogs and sites where Saturn owners describe the exact same problem I am having. A local mechanic also advised me that this same problem was identified in a SAAB vehicle, which he advised me had the same parts as my car, and that the SAAB vehicle was recalled.

While driving transmission will jump out of gear,need to shift gear selector into neutral,then back into drive,sometimes more than once. We have avoided several serious incidents since this problematic issue started. Vehicle was checked out several times at Saturn of modesto. Ca. Now out of business,there fix just replace transmission $5,000 at customers full expense. Contracted Saturn customer service,they advised us to contact chase Chevrolet stkn. Ca as they can service your Saturn vehicle. Called chase Chevrolet was advised there shop did not have proper equipment to service our vehicle,didn't have updated computer software. Still having same issues.

I bought this car April 23, and the following week I began to have problems. At 200 miles the check engine light came on. I took it to the dealer and they said it was the evap canister. But I was also experiencing problems with the automatic transmission trying to switch gears. The vehicle would hesitate when I pressed down on the gas and then it would redline and kick in to the next gear. But it would not stay constant. The vehicle would abruptly downshift on flat ground and on slight grades. The dealership said the problem was fixed, but as I drove off it happened again. I ended up having to schedule another appt for them to look at the vehicle. Then when they looked at it again they said the computer system in the vehicle wasn't working correctly so they said they fixed it. Well when I drove off about 25 miles down the road the problem occurred again. When I try to slow down the brake pedal would go to the floor. I have almost been in a few accidents because of this. The problem occurred at 30mph-60mph. It also rolls back when in the drive way or at a slight incline at a stop sign/light. This vehicle is not safe. Im schedule for another appt. Once again to try and resolve the problem.

While driving 30 mph vehicle lost power and stalled. Consumer pulled over, and had the vehicle towed. The dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.

Fuel economy is drastically below what was said in the sales room and indicated on the sticker. A search of Saturn Vue user sites online indicate that the problem is considerable. Some Vue owners (of the vti 4cyl) get up to 30 miles per gallon, while others like me get 15-17. It doesn't matter whether it's city driving, highway driving, or a combination. Such a disparity is unbelievable. The dealership said this is due to the break-in period. Other owners say they've had great mileage since the bought the car.
