Other Fuel System Tank Assembly Problems of Saturn VUE

I own a Saturn Vue 2003 and topped the tank with gas only to witness a fuel odor and a leak under the tank area. The day before yesterday Monday the 3rd of April I visited dewey barber in gardendale alabama after research and inquired about special coverage 12191, fuel odor and ground spotting. I further explained to them that when I accelerate there's a hesitation as if the flow of gas is altered. They looked up my VIN and discovered a recall of the key ignition cylinder and ordered the switch and key which would be in at 7:30am Tuesday. They wrote it up on a form and passed it on. 2-hours later they said the special coverage 12191 wasn't for my car and that it didn't appear under my VIN. They also concluded that my key was so worn that a copy couldn't be made, another key is ordered from the manufacturer. So I was told to call back Wednesday to see if the keys arrived. Who do I get to fix these problems concerning the fuel odor from the gas leak????? there is a disturbance of fuel flow to the engine that needs to be repaired!!!!!!!.

Fuel sensor. Car will act empty and not start when it's a quarter of a tank or under. When completely full will sometimes not start or acts very sluggish. I never know when the car won't start.

Tl- the contact owns a 2003 Saturn Vue. The contact stated that upon refueling, the fuel did not fully go into the fuel tank and continued to pour out randomly. The vehicle was to be taken to a dealer for inspection and diagnosis. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was not available. Dyd.

I have two major complaints with the vehicle. The key can be removed from the ignition while in the "on" position and is hard to start. Gm has claimed this vehicle is not covered under the ignition recall the second complaint, the vehicle leaks fuel from above the tank which seems to be typical to Saturn Vues.

I have been noticing a very strong smell of gasoline from my Saturn for several weeks. It is most notable once I stop the car and get out but it is always there when the car is stopped. I traced it to an area up high and toward the rear of the gas tank. You can clearly see staining from a leak on a piece of the undercarriage below that area. I have learned the two sister vehicles of the Saturn Vue in 2007, the pontiac torrent and the Chevrolet equinox, were recalled in California last year for this problem but it doesn't appear the Vue was. Recently I have also noticed the my gasoline mileage has dropped from around 25 mpg to just barely over 20 mpg with no change in driving or weather. .

Incorrect gas gauge reading. 11 gal. Tank is close to empty at the 1/2 mark. Has been doing this since the day purchased, but until I saw the news about other gm vehicles last evening, I wasn't aware who to place a complaint with. At the 1/2 mark, takes 7-8 gal. Of gas to top off. Shocked at first gas purchase after buying car since gauge was reading 1/2 full; adjusted my gas purchases accordingly over the years, always keeping watchful eye on gauge.
