Experiencing transmission problems in a 2007 Suzuki Forenza which was purchased from a dealer as a used vehicle on Feb. 1, 2010 with 31,819 miles. Vehicle currently has 51,800 miles and the automatic transmission, when manually attempting to shift from "park" to "drive", experiences a "hard shift" and is "stuck" in a high forward gear, rendering it unsafe to drive. . The vehicle's computer is showing a diagnostic error code of p0705 "transmission range sensor circuit malfunction (prndl input)".

2006 Suzuki Forenza. . . The transmission selector lever sticks and appears to be in park all the time. It also can be shifted out of gear at any time. This has almost caused an accident because I cannot determine safely which gear the vehicle is in.
