1 Transmission Noise problem of the 2005 Suzuki Verona

Failure Date: 02/15/2010

Transmission has had to be replaced 3 times in 2005 Suzuki Verona. Initial problem started 1 month after purchase (new), but dealership managed to replace several other parts first and finally consented to replace transmission 3 months after purchase date. 2nd replacement was exactly 4 years later at 68,000 miles. After transmission replaced, could hear strange sound from under hood and took it back to dealership. Dealer said it was "tire noise". One week later we are now getting a third transmission. Car starts to "hiccup" and once jarred hard enough to lock seat belts. Dealership has replaced parts under warranty, but has not addressed continuing problems such as shuddering breaks, air bag light that stays on continuously (told this would not affect air bag performance), peeling paint or hub caps that keep popping off.

2 Transmission Noise problem of the 2006 Suzuki Verona

Failure Date: 04/21/2008

So far, windshield wiper arm came loose and flopped around while driving in severe storm. Transmission makes a loud clunk when re accelerating at 5 and 20 mph. Windshield wiper arm was tightened, no prob. Since. Transmission still clunks and have had in to dealer 4 times already. They have replaced a control arm and a ball joint. Then had to take back to have steering wheel realigned due to their neglect. After that steering wheel made a clicking noise for about a week. Dealership claims they are unable to find the source of the clunk or to even re create it. It happens for me daily. Next car completely shut off and steering wheel locked up at night while I was driving through a parking garage. Unable to steer car. Today, brakes acted like they weren't going to stop the car, sounded and felt like a spring that is being depressed and not able to compensate for the load. My main complaint, concern is that car will shut off in traffic and I will not be able to steer and will cause an accident. Also, that the clunking in transmission and is a design defect.

Consumer stated that her 2005 Suzuki Verona has been declared a lemon and would like a replacement or the dealer to buy the vehicle back. ***** here have been issues with the vehicle since that date of purchase. There have been several little issues ans some very serious issues. The brake rotors have been replaced again, after being fixed in March, noise is heard coming from the starter, and there have been issues with the transmission.
