1 Structure problem of the 2006 Suzuki XL7

Failure Date: 12/19/2008

April 21st 2008 we had taken my vehicle to medved in wheat ridge, CO. Where they had did a diagnostic test and they had decided that they would replace the sensors, 4-low switch, and transfer case module. They had kept the vehicle until may 2nd, 2008. Mid may 2008. July 25th 2008 I drove the vehicle back down to medved because Suzuki America declined a tow, the reason for this was the same problem as above, this time they were able to recover codes from the diagnostic test they ran, they then decided that they would replace the actuator switch and sensors, my vehicle was kept in the shop until July 31st ,2008. September 3rd ,2008 I called medved and requested a tow to their shop because the vehicle was stuck in 4-low again, they sent a man to leadville for the SUV that afternoon and took it to medved. The service department had discovered corrosion at the connectors on the right footwall area of the dash. They had then replaced the main harness on the vehicle. East bound on I-70, I had just passed the exit for edwards when the 4-low kicked on for a third time that morning, I couldn't get control of the car, the brakes locked up and started making a weird sound, I then hit a guardrail on the right hand side of the interstate then flew across 2 lanes and hit the guardrail on the left side of the interstate. I called 911 (approx 8:59 am) and reported the accident because no one had stopped to see if I was alright (the air bags didn't deploy), I was then transported to the vail hospital for the injuries that had occurred during the accident. Please call me or e mail me I do have more info for you but it wont fit in this square 7192933068.

2 Structure problem of the 2007 Suzuki XL7

Failure Date: 05/26/2008

In 2007 we purchased a new 2007 Xl7 Suzuki. It now has 14,000 miles and is falling apart. First the luggage rack came loose- never had used it- I fixed this my self. Next the vanity mirror on the sun visor broke off. Now the drivers side door handle has falling off. All of this and every couple of weeks the check engine light comes on for a few days then goes off- the gas cap is not loose ! for the cost this car retails for you think it would last more than 1 or 2 years.

3 Structure problem of the 2004 Suzuki XL7

Failure Date: 05/18/2008

That Suzuki feels that it is easier to pay people off that have lost there life or that have been hurt in a car accident than to put in a simple part that will prevent there cars they have built from crushing! I am letting you know this because my mother was killed on may 18, 2008 while driving her Suzuki xl 7 (2004) on the way home from spending the weekend with her 3 grandchildren in cape coral, FL. She was traveling north on I-75 and when her car and another collided. Our lives where changed forever. My mothers car rolled 2. 5 times and landed on the roof side and her car was crushed beyond anything you could imagine. They could not get through the metal that was all tangled and mashed together, so they had to use the jaws of life remove my mother from her car. I am not writing you this out of pity but my heart goes out to all those who are driving a Suzuki xl 7 (2004) that little do you know that if you are to roll there is no protection for you. Please take whatever action you feel you need to do to protect you and your family and others you know that might not be aware of this problem that Suzuki is aware of, but feel it is cost effective to just pay people to keep there mouths shut! please help me fix this awful problem so that someone else does not feel the pain that I am feeling with the loss of my mother.

4 Structure problem of the 2003 Suzuki XL7

Failure Date: 02/20/2006

Letter of complaint and frustration on the poor quality of 2003 Suzuki xl-7 and subsequent pathetic lack of service at the dealer. ***** the molding on the running boards on both sides of the vehicle came off. All the seat belts except for the front driver and passenger lock for no reason. Once locked the seat belts can not be loosened. The seat belt has to be unbuckled the allowed to retract fully before it will function properly. When the interior lights were in auto mode the light did not come on when the doors were opened. A consumer smell a foul odor like oil or something burning. The dealer said that the smell was from the undercoating applied to protect the undercarriage and that it would go away in a few months. The smell persisted beyond a few months. The instrument panel light would go off intermittently. The brakes made noise. The dealer blamed the noise on the brakes being new. The battery terminals corroded.

5 Structure problem of the 2005 Suzuki XL7

Failure Date: 01/01/2006

The 2005 Suzuki xl-7 is raked down in the front so much so that it is virtually impossible to see what is behind the vehicle (within 15 feet or so) when backing up. If a short person or child were walking behind the vehicle, the driver could not see them. This is an accident waiting to happen!.
