One problem related to navigational (global positioning system) gps has been reported for the 2016 Tesla Model X. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
On July 3rd, 2020 we observed that our center console was completely dark. This impacted many components and features of the vehicle including but not limited to the heating/cooling, rear camera, audio, bluetooth, gps, side mirrors, etc. We were notified by Tesla that an mcu was ordered and we would be notified when it arrives. As of 7/29 we still do not have a date for when the new mcu will arrive.
