The contact owns a 2017 Tesla Model X. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 23v838000 (electrical system) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed with the autonomous self-driving mode activated, the auto-steer feature was engaged, and the vehicle inadvertently steered into the left lane of oncoming traffic.
