When shifting into reverse the rear camera is delayed to be displayed. This to me is a safety concern.

While in reverse, the image displayed on the backup camera was a previous image rather than a live image and did not display what was actually behind the vehicle at the time of the crash. There were no injuries and a police report was not filed. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 5,000.
