Fsd / vision system , no warnings , the vehicle is turning left and right on a straight road sunny conditions. I have a video that it wouldn’t let me attach to the case. I had Tesla service review this and they told me it’s standard behavior, this never occurred before and is dangerous and unusable. Autopilot has an issue that Tesla themself can’t detect and when I get into an accident it’ll be too late. I’ve been complaining about this for 3 months and Tesla keeps telling me it’s standard behavior, this never happened before the car used to drive straight, brand new tires front and back , blanket and aligned the car drives straight while not in autopilot, issue is directly related to fsd and Tesla autopilot.
On Saturday, [xxx] at around [xxx] going west on [xxx] toward [xxx] stopped at the intersection of [xxx]. While driving my 2022 Tesla Model Y, performance, I was stopped at a red light. When the light turned green and I began accelerating normally through the intersection, both passenger-side doors unexpectedly unlatched at the same time. The windows on both passenger doors lowered slightly, and the vehicle displayed a warning indicating the doors were open and to drive carefully. This created an immediate safety hazard, as the doors opened while the vehicle was in motion without any intentional action from the occupants(there were 0 occupants there). This is the second time this exact issue has occurred under similar circumstances, with the previous incident also happening as I accelerated from a red light. The vehicle should not allow multiple doors to unlatch while driving. I have reported the issue to Tesla for inspection and request that this incident be documented and investigated as a potential safety defect. I was going less that 10 mph when this occurred. Thankfully, my toddler was not sitting in the back seat and there were no passengers in the car. No injuries. No crash. *unable to upload any photos/screenshots at the moment, but can email or link a drive when need be. This website doesn't support any uploads at the moment. I'm on a mac using google chrome. I am reporting a serious safety concern involving my Tesla Model Y. While driving, the vehicle’s main center screen (mcu) suddenly failed and entered a continuous reboot loop. This resulted in the loss of critical driving information and controls, including navigation, camera display, and vehicle system status. The issue occurred without any warning and nearly caused a serious accident, as I was unable to safely monitor essential driving information. This failure made the vehicle extremely unsafe to operate. The problem appears to be related to a known mcu system failure affecting some Tesla vehicles. I am concerned that this issue may present a broader safety risk for other drivers. Please investigate this matter for potential safety defects.
My driver side headlight assembly stopped working. The headlight assembly includes the driving lights, high beams, and turn signals. I am open to having this product inspected upon request. This impacts the safety of me and others due to decreased visibility and the inability to appropriately indicate when I am turning. The dealer has not reviewed this yet, but I have a scheduled appointment on Friday, April 24. Vehicle has not been inspected by any third-party, improving manufacturer, police, insurance, or other representatives. There were no warning, lamps, messages, other symptoms of the problem prior to failure. The failure first appeared at around 55,000 miles, which was 5000 miles beyond my warranty. I believe that Tesla is pushing out updates that intentionally cause light assemblies and other high priced items to stop working after the warranty. There are multiple instances people replacing the same fixture after their warranty period has expired. Tesla charges $2000 to replace one light fixture. I believe this is fraudulent and corrupt business practices by Tesla.
The vehicle was delivered with a critical safety defect in the braking system and inoperable safety software (gps/fsd/navigation). Upon further inspection by the dealer's own technician, it was confirmed that the vehicle had 'extremely poor brake feel' and 'extreme rust build up' on all pads and rotors, which violated Tesla’s 6mm minimum safety standard for used vehicles. Additionally, a physically damaged windshield harness caused the failure of gps and fsd features. These defects posed a significant safety risk to myself and my family during operation. The dealer has documented and confirmed these safety issues but is now refusing a buyback and is retaliating with storage fees for my rejection of the unsafe product. No warning lights appeared prior to the technician's discovery of the brake defects.
On Feb 25, 2026 my 2022 Tesla Model Y with only 25k miles on it suddenly stopped knowing where it was and almost drove me into a ditch. All cameras stopped working and the gps was stuck in the same wrong location. (service mode showed primary das ecu shows "ap in coreboot" and "status: init. " secondary b shows nominal. Features unavailable. Gnss shows 0 satellites in open sky. ) Tesla service said I was outside of warranty and “there is an internal processor issue with your autopilot system that will prevent updates from installing. The only solution is replacing the computer on April 9, 2026, 12:22,” I had had other computer related issues I brought up during regular service visits but weren’t recorded and I was told software updates would fix such delayed rearview camera upon startup, navigation volume resetting, headlights staying on for extended periods after exit, and lockout issues. I asked Tesla to document the specific failure codes which they never sent. They said “Tesla diagnostics are showing the primary autopilot computer is not booting properly, which is preventing cameras, software updates, and related systems from functioning. Because the computer is not initializing, a firmware reinstall will not complete successfully. At this point, replacement of the computer is the required repair to restore normal functionality. ” my car had a safety recall during its service appointment that they could not install software for unless I paid $3200 to replace computer. I had total loss of rearview camera (fmvss 111 violation) and loss of active safety systems (aeb/fcw), but Tesla refused to repair a federally mandated safety defect if I didn’t pay the full repair cost.
While driving, the vehicle displays a critical “air pressure in tires very low — pull over safely” alert. When I pull over and inspect, the tire pressure is normal and there is no flat. The alert clears on its own after driving a few more miles. The vehicle has been serviced four times for this issue between February and may 2026 at Tesla service centers in austin TX, flower mound TX, san diego CA, and los angeles CA. The tire pressure monitoring sensors have been replaced three times (rear left twice, front left once). On the may 7, 2026 san diego service visit, the technician documented the root cause as a low voltage issue with the sensor system. The issue continues to recur after each repair. A false critical safety alert that instructs the driver to pull over creates a safety risk because it trains drivers to distrust real alerts, and pulling over on highways carries its own risk.
I got into my car two days ago and the computer screen was black. I have tried everything to reset it, holding down both scroll wheels with the brake pressed for up to 2 minutes, unplugging the low voltage battery overnight and plugging it back in, and even doing the hard reset at the disconnect under the rear passenger seats and my computer will not turn on. I can't see any information about my speed or how much charge I have, I can't turn on climate controls and it's the middle of winter and I live in the mountains of colorado. I can't even open my glove box without the screen. From everything I read, it sounds like an mcu failure, my vehicle has the newer mcu2. Tesla quoted about $800 for a tow and it sounds like the replacement costs could be $2500+.
Incident summary: car computer (hw3) suffered internal hardware failure on 12/17/25 following software update 2025. 44. 3. While the media screen and rearview camera functioned, the autopilot board (apb) was "mia. " Tesla randolph (invoice #3000s0015357298) confirmed the internal failure and replaced the unit. Safety risk: failure disabled safety-critical adas: automatic emergency braking (aeb) and forward collision warning. Driving visualizations were severely compromised; the vehicle failed to detect pedestrians or lane markings while in motion, creating an immediate collision risk. The car’s active safety "intelligence" was essentially blind despite the camera feed being visible on the screen. Inspection & contradictions: Tesla service confirmed the "internal failure" (12/19-12/23). Note: the service manager verbally claimed "no codes," but the official invoice explicitly states technicians "found multiple alerts present. " part was retained by Tesla. Warning symptoms: failure followed a software reboot loop. Symptoms (mia board/power cycle failure) match recall 25v-002. Vehicle had only 36,289 miles. Reporting as potential hw3 defect expansion.
The car stopped in a busy freeway saying electric issue and doesn’t give sufficient time to drive to shoulder. This is the 2nd time this happened within 2 weeks. First time, Tesla said high voltage controller had an internal issue with voltage sensing. The hv controller was replaced along with pyrotechnic fuse. Tesla assured this shouldn’t repeat and it repeated again. This has kept us in a catastrophic situation. I request immediate attention to this error and matter.
To the national highway traffic safety administration, I am filing a formal complaint regarding a dangerous safety defect in the 2021 Tesla Model Y. On December 2, 2025 at approximately 4:25 pm, my vehicle suffered a sudden, complete electrical shutdown while I was driving, with no warning and no opportunity to reach safety. Critical details: the vehicle displayed an electrical system message, then instantly powered down. I lost all ability to steer or move the vehicle, which remained immobilized in active traffic. Hazard lights did not function, leaving the vehicle unmarked and invisible to oncoming vehicles. Electronic systems failed, requiring manual release of the driver door. The incident occurred at dusk and blocked the roadway, placing myself and others at significant risk. This failure presented an immediate threat to life and safety. I have since discovered that other Tesla owners have reported similar abrupt electrical or drive-unit shutdowns, suggesting this may represent a broader systemic defect. I am formally requesting that NHTSA investigate whether this issue meets the threshold for a safety recall and whether Tesla’s systems contain a defect capable of causing sudden, uncommanded shutdown while driving. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I am prepared to provide all supporting documentation, including incident details, screenshots, timestamps, and service correspondence.
I have repeatedly had electrical failure in the vehicle in the form of a "reduced power alert" which renders the vehicle with significant limitation to drivability. This places the vehicle in "limp mode" and this frequently occurs on the highway. Once this alert appears the vehicle has limited propulsion, limitations to steering and braking as well as other electrical systems. It has been to the dealership for repair on 4 occasions without remedy. It is leaving us on the highway in a dangerous situation repeatedly. It's not a one time event. There were 20 alerts showing on the screen when I limped it into the dealership once again on [xxx] having nearly wrecked on [xxx] just before the [xxx] exit. The reason this is so dangerous is the failures occur at higher speeds such as highway driving. Leaving one with an immediate loss of forward motion as if you've hit the brakes but vehicles behind you have no warning. This is going to end up with someone getting rear ended or worse. Social media indicates it is a prevalent and not well understood recurring problem. Tesla has been quietly repurchasing vehicles from angry owners. Dreadful. My 2022 Model Y, 213k miles, battery health 77%, no issues until beginning of November 2025. After Tesla’s update, bms_a079 popped up, capped charge at 22%. No dead cells, no imbalance—pure software bug remotely triggered by Tesla. Service refused written diagnosis, only said ‘nine thousand dollars for new battery. Risk of stranding.
2022 Tesla Model Y long range awd VIN: [xxx] current mileage: 71,967 safety defect: power conversion system (pcs) internal hardware failure causes sudden, complete loss of supercharging capability and extreme vampire drain. Tesla technician’s own words – invoice #[xxx] dated 11/04/2025: “the problem was caused by an internal hardware condition in the power conversion system. ” this is a manufacturing defect – not wear/tear. Safety risk: • stranding hazard – vehicle stalls at 99%/95% on v3 superchargers. • one documented trip (indiana ? las vegas) required 27 supercharger stops and 14+ hours of charging instead of the normal 10–12 stops. • vampire drain: 95% ? 70% in 4 days parked (all features off) – July 2025. • battery degradation: 16. 4% loss at 72k miles (83. 5% health, 268 mi range) – far above fleet average. Tesla knew since 49k miles: • Nov 20, 2024 – full hv circuit integrity check – goodwill $0 • Feb 19, 2025 – service manager [xxx] ran diagnostics and wrote “everything checks out great” • 15 service visits, 3 charge-port doors replaced – same root symptom Tesla now demands $2,503. 17 out-of-pocket and refuses to release the vehicle until paid – despite admitting the defect in writing. Hello. I brought my Tesla y to Tesla service local at 7077 w. Sahara av. , las vegas, nv. To fix noise in the breaks on Aug 28, 2025, after that on the same day I went to drive Tesla and I started feeling severe ear pressure, heart pressures, severe body pain from high emf exposure, also severe electric shocks from the floor, seats, back of the seat, wheel, it has been constantly ongoing for already 6 six month since Aug 28, 2025. It’s when ever I am getting inside my car, driving, or just when it’s parked, I feel all that severe pain in the body, severe ear pressure, severe heart pressure, pain in hands, legs from high emf exposure inside Tesla, also electric shocks from the floor, back of the seat, seat, wheel. My Tesla y caused severe damaged t my health. I have all those symptoms and pain only when I am inside the car, when I am not in the car, I don’t feel any pain, and I don’t feel all of those severe symptoms and pain in my body. I have this car from 2024, it was perfectly fine, except that during hot season in vegas, when the temperature is above 80 f, the glass roof got extremely hot, and it burned my head severely despite I cover with sun protector glass roof. But besides that I didn’t have any issues with my Tesla y. Only after I brought my car to Tesla service on Aug 28. 2025, same day Tesla started causing me severe pain from high emf and high voltage causing electric shocks. I contacted local Tesla service many times and tried to address this issues. They didn’t help. I got response from Tesla manager at w. Sahara “ hope it will resolve by itself”:(( no one addressed this issue seriously. I noticed, every time I broght my Tesla y to local Tesla services here in las vegas, the emf exposure and electric shocks became even more extreme, worst like a 100 times more:(( I honestly after these horrific experience with local Tesla services I dont trust those Tesla techs anymore. Please help and conduct high emf and high voltage inspections for my car!.
After installing the most recent Tesla software update, my vehicle immediately displayed multiple alerts: traction control disabled, stability control disabled, and reduced steering assist. Cameras were disabled, navigation was disabled and my vehicle location was wrong. The vehicle lost core safety systems that are critical to safe driving the car functioned normally before the update. Immediately afterward, these safety systems were disabled. Tesla service has since diagnosed and confirmed, they state “an internal short within the drive assistance module (computer). The internal short is causing excessive current draw, resulting in loss of driver assistance features. The latest software has revealed the underlying root issue within the car computer. ” this indicates that the vehicle was operating with a latent defect that Tesla’s diagnostic update exposed. The update did not cause wear-and-tear failure; it surfaced a hidden safety defect inside Tesla’s own hardware. Why this is a safety concern loss of traction control, stability control, and steering assist creates a significant risk of loss of vehicle control. If this had occurred while driving at speed, the sudden loss of these systems could have led to an accident. Attempting a reboot while driving (Tesla’s standard troubleshooting suggestion) would have created further distraction and risk. Luckily when the car catastrophically failed and was unable to turn, I was in my driveway and not on a highway or any other roads.
On July 22, 2025, at about 6:30 pm in a western suburb of illinois, on a hot, humid, sunny evening after my car had sat in direct sun all day, my 2022 Tesla Model Y long range (dual motor awd) suffered a total electrical failure. As I walked up, the car unlocked automatically with my phone key as usual. I placed my dog in the back seat, closed that door, and immediately tried to open the driver’s/front door—but it would not open. The phone key failed, and the backup key card at the b-pillar also failed to unlock the car. I then tried resetting and reconnecting my phone key through the Tesla app, but nothing worked. There were no 12-v or low-voltage warnings on the display or app. I could not find a phone number or live help in the Tesla app; my son and I searched youtube for guidance but could not fix it. My dog was trapped inside in dangerous heat, so I called 911. Police first tried a slim-jim tool without success and then broke the driver’s window to reach in and open the front door, but the rear doors and windows remained inoperative. The dog was in the car for 30 to 45 minutes before the window was broken. Once inside, I found that the front seats would not move forward or backward, none of the windows would not roll down, and the rear doors would not open from inside. It took another 30 to clear enough glass to evacuate my 75-lb dog through the front seats; we both sustained cuts, and I sprained my ankle. The event was traumatic and posed a serious heat-injury risk (~85 °f ambient, interior >110 °f within minutes). Police documented the incident. Tesla service center (naperville IL) later confirmed a 12-v failure as the cause, replaced the 12-v battery with an upgraded model under warranty, and repaired the driver’s window and door trim. Tesla insurance was notified the next morning but closed the claim and covered repairs under warranty. No warnings appeared until the following morning, when a low-voltage alert appeared in my Tesla app when being serviced.
On July 19, 2025 my 10-year old daughter entered the back seat and shut the door. When I (her mother) went to get into the drivers door the electricity in the car completely shut down locking my daughter in the vehicle. There were no visible icons or labels showing where the emergency/manual latch was. She was hystercial and heating up quickly. We called Tesla roadside assistance and the agent spent 10-15 minutes explaining how to get out of a model 3 (we had a Model Y). He then proceeded to tell us that he did not know how to advise her how to get out. He told us not to break the window and to search it on google. When we asked for his name he would not provide it and he displayed hesitation and resistance to connect us with his superior. We explained that he was dealing with a potentially fatal situation and he displayed zero sense of urgency or compassion for the situation. We were able get her out of the vehicle after researching it online. But Tesla did not provide any guidance to help. Our car was at 80% charge and we did not get any low voltage notification or warning that the auxiliary battery was dead or low. My daughter was dehydrated and is forever traumatized by this situation and could have been seriously harmed. Tesla does not provide a standard vehicle delivery process when you purchase or lease a vehicle from them. They do not provide any tutorial or notification on what to do in the case you lose electrical power. The manual emergency latch is not labelled at all. You would never know it was there unless you search online. We sent an email to Tesla notifying them of the situation and they never responded. We even shared this with the service manager who replaced the battery and he said it is a common occurrence and brushed it off.
The low voltage battery went out after rear right door was opened to put children in car seats. Drove 45 minutes to a train museum with the kids. Everything was working fine on the way down. Once done with the museum and back at the car, opened right rear door to put my younger child in the car seat. My older child decided to enter the car through same door as she didn't want to wait for me to finish to take her to the other side. Once my younger child was buckled up, I closed the door to come over to the other side the buckle in my older child into car seat. The door would not open. The phone application would not get the car to unlock the doors. I could not open any of the doors. Children were trapped inside. My oldest child was not yet buckled and I was able to instruct her to crawl to the front and try opening both doors with the electronic button, which did not work. I then instructed her to use the mechanical door latch vs the electronic and she got the door open. Had it not been for the fact that she was still unbuckled she would not have been able to get to the front to open the doors. I would have needed to call 911 for help getting the kids out as the car was unresponsive.

On April 18th, 2025, I dropped off my 2022 Tesla Model Y at Tesla collision center (paramus, NJ) after a minor accident. I later revoked consent for any repairs via email. Despite this, Tesla performed major body and paint work without my permission. No signed work order exists. The repairs were unauthorized and proceeded without my knowledge or approval until this day. These changes now risk altering my VIN history and vehicle safety records. I’m concerned this constitutes falsified documentation and could affect resale value, title accuracy, and liability in future accidents. I was never shown a repair summary or given the chance to approve or decline service. Even after I sent a formal cease-and-desist letter on June 6, 2025, Tesla towed my rental vehicle on June 4 (without warning), which I had been using through Tesla insurance. My personal belongings were inside. The timing suggests retaliation for revoking consent and demanding documentation. There were no mechanical failures or warning lights before this, but my concern is that Tesla falsified records & carried out structural work under my VIN without my legal consent. That poses serious risk to my safety and consumer transparency. The work was done by Tesla’s own collision center. The vehicle is available for inspection. I request NHTSA to review Tesla’s repair authorization practices and investigate whether unauthorized repairs, falsified VIN records, or retaliation have occurred in my case and others. This incident reflects broader safety concerns around Tesla’s internal repair authorization system, which may allow collision centers to proceed without documented customer consent. If vehicle repairs are being logged under owner records without approval, this poses risk to accident liability, insurance disputes, and NHTSA transparency. I request a formal investigation into Tesla’s repair authorization practices and how they affect vehicle safety, ownership rights, and regulatory compliance. Thank you.
On April 14,2025 my 2022 Tesla Model Y caught on fire while charging. The fire started from underneath the car near the trunk. The fire burned the side of my house as well. The fire department ruled it as an electrical fire due to the battery.
Total loss of heat in vehicle. Receiving error code vcfront_a447, cabin climate control system requires service, heating/cooling limited or unavailable. This is a significant safety concern in minnesota's climate and as we're experiencing -10 or colder windchills.
I am having difficulty with the mobile version to report it blanks out when I attempt to upload or attach documents but I have videos and documentation.

Charge port didn't allow to latch the charge cable. So the car lost the ability to be charged. This failure first time happened in December 2023. A mobile service technician visited my home to look into it. He checked and was able to restore the working of latch again. He didn't replace any part. This problem again happened on a very hot day (above 43 degree c) on 4th July when me and my family were away from home and were routed to a fast charger which was more than 70 miles from my home. The battery at that time was showing only 35 miles range left. I was forced to drop my car in nearest service center which was closed due to 4th July. Me and my family were stranded on the road in harsh temperature conditions. Some how I reached back home by alternate means. It took more than 5 days service center touched the car and fixed the car. Per there report they replaced the charge port on my car. The problem happened again on July 29 but got resolved on its own. I visited service center again on 15 August and was give a detailed form to fill up next time the problem happens. I was told that they will do some further diagnosis but they didn't even touched the car as the problem was not showing at that time. I have strong feeling that this problem can happen again and may leave me again stranded on road without any support. I have lost confidence to drive this car for longer distance where I may need to charge on the way. The issue happens without any warning and will show up right at the time when I have to charge it. I feel that this issue may leave me in a unsafe situation if I am at a remote place where the car looses the ability to be charged. I am not sure if this is the right forum to bring up this issue. Please feel free to direct me if this is not the right forum.
What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request: my drivere side door fails to open every time. The cold weather feature in the Tesla app claims to pop open the door so you can grab the door to fully open only to get stuck closed. This also happens when attempting to exit the Tesla. The passenger side drivers door also does not open every time. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? has been in for service many times. Concern does not replicate except at time of pickup of vehicle. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? yes failure to open door. Also if you are in full self driving and come to a emergency stop: the vehicle is suppost to open the door and put the vehicle in park. The vehicle only puts it into park and have to press the button multiple times to open the door. It gets stuck.
The contact owns a 2022 Tesla Model Y. The contact stated while driving 20-25 mph, the hood unexpectedly opened, struck the windshield, and obstructed the visibility of the road. The contact was able to pull into a parking lot. The contact stated that while attempting to close the hood, he noticed that the hood struts were completely damaged. The contact removed the struts and closed the hood manually. The vehicle was taken to a Tesla service center, where the contact was informed that the vehicle data recorder was missing information on the failure. The Tesla service center replaced the windshield at the owner expense. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 24v554000 (latches/locks/linkages, electrical system); which the contact related to the failure. The Tesla service center informed the contact that the hood repair could not be covered under the recall because the failure could be related to an aftermarket accessory that the contact had installed on the hood. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 28,000.
I just got t-boned in my 2022 Model Y performance. I got out of the vehicle which wasn't in terrible condition, in fact the left side of the vehicle was still perfect and the doors worked fine. I had my dog with me and everyone was okay, but I opened my door and the back passenger door to grab a jacket and check on my dog. I shut the doors to make sure he didn't run out and was a bit out of it because of the accident impact so I took a moment to compose myself. . All of the car's lights flickered and then the electric cut off leaving the doors completely locked and inoperable even though they had just been used moments before and were not damaged in the accident. I had to climb in through a shattered glass window to get my dog as all the doors wouldn't open from the outside and I was unable to access the glove box, nor pry it open because the electricity was out and the impact caused that door to make the side panel to unlock the glove box manually accessible. If the car did catch fire or an occupant were bleeding out: anyone inside, unconscious, would be unable to use the manually release and would be burned alive while people pull on doors that won't open that were undamaged in the accident and working 60 seconds before. From what I have read the only solution would be to jump the car using the 12v battery in the frunk of which the tow company and emergency responders were not familiar with.
A Tesla Model Y has one screen which is all instruments, warning indicators and reverse camera. On March 3rd, 2024 I had just completed about a 40 mile drive. I parked the vehicle for approximately three minutes and upon returning to the vehicle the screen failed to turn on. The vehicle ran and drove perfectly normally, but I had zero instrumentation or warning indicators. I drove home about two miles this way without incident. Upon exiting the car and closing the door (which is the equivalent to turning off the key in a traditional vehicle), the screen turned back on as normal and has since not repeated this issue. I contacted Tesla service about it and even sent them a video showing the vehicle operating with the screen not functioning and I was told to just reboot the car and they brushed it off and would not see the vehicle over this incident.
The contact owned a 2022 Tesla Model Y. The contact stated while driving 60-70 mph, she noticed a burning smell. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact then noticed sparks coming from the front passenger's side tire area. Another driver alerted the contact of an issue, and the contact immediately veered to the side of the road. The contact then noticed that the sparks coming from the front passenger's side tire area had become significant and had turned into flames. The front end of the vehicle caught on fire. The fire department extinguished the fire; however, a fire department report was not filed. There was no police report filed. The contact sustained minor bruises while exiting the vehicle. Additionally, the contact sustained an emotional trauma and intended to receive therapeutic assistance. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot. The insurance company then towed the vehicle to another tow lot, where it was totaled. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 30,028.
Hvac system in vehicle seemed to lack power since first use and now the hvac system doesn’t operate (cold or hot).
Tesla incident 9/8/2023 my Tesla y started moving backwards suddenly while I was driving forward after I accidentally flicked the right drive lever, mistaking it rain wipers. I driving on henry hudson parkway in nyc. It was back to back traffic on hhp. The Tesla started racing backward despite my foot off the gas, and I barely had time to brake . Luckily, traffic was very slow due to rain and carbehind had stopped and it was not damaged at all. However, my Tesla trunk was damaged. I am very worried that the car could go from moving forward to backward with accidental flick on the drive lever.
