Airbag light comes on and does not go away.
Airbag light on dashboard blinks.
Every time that the passenger seat is moved forward to allow passengers in or out the air bag light in the vehicle starts blinking. The light will blink for around 15 days before it shuts off if the passenger seat is not moved forward for passengers during that time. The next time the passenger seat is moved forward for passengers, the cycle starts over again.
While driving traction control at 65000 miles failed. The light illuminated on the dashboard. Took vehicle to the mechanic, and he reset it. Then, it happened again, light came on while consumer was driving. Consumer bought the part; had it put on. Within a month the air bag light illuminated on the dash. Took the vehicle back to the mechanic they found that the air bag sensor module was defective. Air bag on the passenger side was completely inoperable.
Airbag light flashed on/off back in Aug. 2003. I took it to the dealership to be repaired and thought that was the end of the problem. Almost a year later in July 2004 my airbag light started flashing on/off again, I then returned it to the dealership where once again it was "fixed or repaired" now, two months later I'm having again the same problem. I don't think Toyota knows how to fix this issue and it's a real concern to think that if there's a possible accident or inncodent the air bag(s ) may not deploy. I'm frustrated with this problem and am filing a complaint in hopes that maybe someone will listen or pay attention. This could get to be a costly issue that never gets resolved. I know I'm not the only person to have filed a complaint about this issue. This is a defective vehicle with a frustrating problem.
Consumer states that while driving the air bag light stays illuminated. Cause unknown dealer notified.
Air bag light on instrument panel has come on approximately 8 times. Dealership has been unable to determine cause for this problem.

Air bag light will come on and stay on, contacted dealer, and ealer tried to fix air bag, but the remedy did not work. Second time consumer took it back to try to get it fixed. Consumer has had vehicle in shop thrree times. Contacted dealer.
Air bag light keep coming on.
While driving air bag light would flash/blink. Would not remain solid. Sounds like cables hitting something under hood. Been to dealership numerous times, but mechanic could not locate cause of problem. Mechanic indicated that he tightened a pin, but problem still exists.
Air bag light has been looked at numerous times now that my regular warranty has expired, I had to look at my extended warranty for coverage and they do not replace air bag sensors. They supposedly fixed it at 30,000 miles but it reoccured at 45,000 miles. Now they say they will pay for the part but not the labor. Shouldn't this be paid by the manufacturer completely since it is a safety factor?.
