1 Adaptive Equipment problem

Failure Date: 10/25/2013

Dash board is extremely sticky and shiny causing driving visablity to be very dangerous.

2 Adaptive Equipment problem

Failure Date: 07/01/2011

The driver's side sun visor has broken and will not stay up in place. There is no way to keep this up and it becomes a driving hazard. Removal of the visor then leaves the driver blind from the light of the sun in the morning and in the evening. It is apparent that this part fails on a regular basis and that Toyota has continued to use the same mechanism in the Toyota Camry sun visor over a several year span and simply uses it as a revenue source from the driving public.

3 Adaptive Equipment problem

Failure Date: 07/01/2011

While driving (at various speeds) the sunvisor on the driver's side falls down blocking vision via the front windshield. As a safety measure and to prevent an accident I have taped by sunvisor in the up position to ensure in does not fall down. I called Toyota and inquired as to whether there had been a recall and the said no. My only course of action is to pay to have sunvisor changed out.

4 Adaptive Equipment problem

Failure Date: 03/12/2010

I have received 2 floormat recall notices from Toyota. In their 2nd floormat recall notice, Toyota states "as an additional measure independent of the vehicle-based recall remedy, Toyota will install a newly designed override system in your vehicle to provide an extra measure of confidence. This system will cut engine power in case of simultaneous application of both accelerator and brake pedals at certain speeds and driving conditions. This installation will also be conducted at no charge to you. " my dealer has advised me that I have the proper floormat and it is properly installed therefore he cannot install only the override system. He states all 3 modifications must be done. As Toyota's recall notice clearly states the override system will be installed "independent. . . . " this extra measure of confidence should be afforded to me and the override system should be installed in my 2008 Camry le. Request your assistance.
