A few days ago, when driving along the highway, I was caught in a massive rain storm. I'm talking deluge that made visibility difficult even with the wipers on max power. As I'm driving along, the one thing keeping me from playing bumper cars with anyone in front of me was the taillights cutting through the visual noise. However, I began to approach a vehicle whose taillights I did not see until it was too late. Thankfully they were in the other lane, so I did not hit them, however, their taillights appeared to be off. As I got closer, I realized that the taillights were on and, in fact, so we're the hazards. They just didn't have the brightness to cut through all that rain. Then, to my horror, I noticed that the vehicle was another 2025 Toyota Camry, exactly like mine. I confirmed later with friends who were following us. In that rain, our taillights were invisible, even when all around us were shining through the noise. The taillight design on these Camrys needs to be fixed for the safety of those driving them, as well as the safety of others on the road. It is entirely possible that if I were to have been in the same lane as that other Camry, I would have rear-ended them. Luckily in this case everyone was safe.
The engine quit running whenever the headlights, turn signals, or wipers were turned on. This was obviously a serious safety problem when driving! it began intermittently on 6/30/25, but it became a consistent problem by 7/7/25, so I took the car to the closest Toyota dealership for evaluation. I can provide their service report to you if requested. It took them 6 hours and $1000 to diagnose the problem as bad electrical grounding points (high resistance), which were only revealed after they removed the front bumper. In my opinion, it is an unsafe design to have poor grounding for headlights cause the engine to die.

1. Driving on the highway with adaptive cruise control feels like taming a wild horse. Pulls side to side, even after alignment and total check up from Toyota. 2. Engine maintenace required now warning light. This came on at 106,458 miles on Toyota Camry 21 le. Randomly turned on. Off when air con was turned off, light came back on when air con was turned on. Took to Toyota dealership, repaired at no cost, coolant bypass valve circuit short to battery or open, known concern by Toyota. Dtc p268115 confirmed and repaired at no cost, customer care warranty. 3. Headlights full of water, condensation at 70,000 miles. Regular maintenace each 5k miles, bought extended protection plan for 4k, purchased car brand new in 2021 0 miles. At 70k the headlights I noticed condensation inside the headlights. I thought it would go away, later at 100,000 miles both headlights at the same time started to flicker, then drl only worked, and turn signals and side markers. Led assembly went out completely dead. Drl then stopped working. Headlight retaining clips pulled away from the body of the car. Completely plastic. Headlight seal is completely worn and is peeling away from the headlight. Toyota just inspected car at 106,000 miles nothing said about the headlights. Now at 114k, need to replace entire headlight on my own. 1 headlight is 1900 at Toyota. Must replace entire assembly, since it is a led module. Cracks in top mounting latches, entirely plastic. Led circuit board inside headlight covered in corrosion. Kioto mexico dm026 is the chip inside the headlight located under the led module. Led lights last 10-15 years. I didn't know I was supposed to reseal a headlight after 3 years. Toyota never told me this, not in the manual either. My headlights are done for. It costs 3000-4000 for oem. No help from Toyota so far. Quaity issue with led headlight unit on both sides. Plastic housing falling apart, cracking, clips snapped and breaking, no accidents. Others have this issue.

Low beam headlights are projected too low and it is difficult to see past ~20ft. Field of vision is significantly decreased (~5ft) on downhills or any significant road slope. No accident has occurred yet but it is very difficult to see ahead in the dark without using high beams; turning on high beams is not appropriate in many situations. Dealership was unable to do anything to align headlights. Potential headlight design flaw such as tolerances or assembly proceedures may have created this problem. This issue is unsafe because low beam light projection provides the driver a field of vision critical for safely driving in the dark. Issue has been present since vehicle purchase in may 25th, 2024.
I was driving my car when suddenly the speedometer started going from 0-60 back and forth, the rpms was all over the place, the brake light came on and stayed on and the lights was going from bright to dim, there was a couple more lights aluminized on my dash. After googling the problem that nearly caused me and my children to crash, there is so many people affected by this same problem in the 2007 Toyota Camry. Why hasn't this been recalled or class auctioned. Also my dash board is sticky like tar.

My Toyota Camry se 2017 while driving on freeway, my car started to smell like something burning few minutes later the car radio and lighting started to go crazy on off flashing randomly. Going on off random screens by itself. I tried turning radio off but it wouldn't let me. When car turnkey is on without running the warning lights says check charging system. Dealer says not sure why it says that but nothing wrong I replaced a battery already bottom half radio doesn't work. Cranking sound in steering wheel prior to this about 5months replaced arm controls. Noise still happens when turning.
The contact owns a 2024 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that while driving the vehicle during the day at unknown speeds, the dashboard lights shut off, making it difficult to view. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was informed to contact the manufacturer. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 300.

Headlights it is a 22 Toyota Camry vehicle hasnt been inspected by the dealer there is a message in the system for led headlight problem for the left front but not the right front the right front flashes more than the left it will eventually quit but if you turn the car on with just ignition they will also flash.

The passenger side headlight is retaining moisture. Upon further inspection the retaining clips have pulled away and cracked. This causes the headlight to flicker from the moisture inside. Brought the vehicle into clearwater Toyota in clearwater, FL and warranty repair was refused with the service manager stating that I was in an accident. I wasn't. Was not repaired by dealer. Opened a claim with insurance company. Body shop states that it appears to be a manufacturer issue as the screw securing the retaining clip is pushing through the plastic causing it to break.
My navigation system is stuck in a reboot mode where is flashes a very bright white screen. I was driving at night and the screen is so bright, and there’s no way to turn it off or adjust the brightness. It was bright that I could not see the road and hit the ditch when I went to turn onto my road. Its very hard to drive at night with this bright light flashing from the entire radio screen it makes it extremely dangerous to be out after dark.

I had a problem.
Some times car will not accelerate no matter how much stepping on the gas pedal, car will slow down like its going to stop or no power to the car while car is moving/driving. All lights on the dash board lights up, one of them that is known is the "brake malfunction" light.
Brake light switch failure causing loss of break lights and other safety features such as emergency stopping, lane change notification, loss of anti-lock brakes, and other safety features.
At about 60,000 miles, the turn signal popped out making it unsafe to drive. I had the turn signal replaced, then at about 66,000 miles, the horn quit working and the airbag light came on. This was not only a safety issue but caused the vehicle to fail state inspection. I contacted Toyota to reimburse me for the expense incurred for replacing the spiral cable but they refused based on the reason that the 36000 miles warranty had expired. In my opinion, the issue I faced was due to a faulty spiral cable and the 36000 miles warranty clause should not apply. There are other Toyota owners who have reported the same issue to NHTSA. 2009 Toyota corolla was recalled for the same defect but Camry was not. Based on the complaints I have seen, Camry should have been recalled too.

After 4. 5 years of owning and operating this vehicle I have noticed some major issues with headlights. Positioning of headlights is very awkward. I avoid driving at night because of this. Even when headlight setting is on the last position I can hardly see a thing in front of me. I have had other drivers flash their lights on me when approaching from the opposite direction because my lights are apparently too bright, but I am not using high beams. I keep my headlights clean and free of debris but problem is still there. I get that blinding another driver/pedestrian is not safe but I have had many instances of driving at night and larger cars (namely suvs and pickups) swerve into my lane almost causing an accident because they cannot see my car due to the low placement of my car's headlights. When I do turn on my high beams I can see everything that the normal headlight settings refuse to show, from the stop signs that are several hundred feet away, to pedestrians crossing the street several blocks away. On normal setting I'd be lucky to even spot a pedestrian jaywalking across the street before it's too late. I have driven other sedans before and the difference is quite large, how is it that with older cars I can see more without the high beam setting on but with the 2018 Camry I need to bump it up to high beams just to see better at night? Toyota still has not even fixed this even now with their current Camry lineup. At this point having an SUV/pickup serves to be a great advantage.
The contact owns a 1999 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that the headlights were dim while driving the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the headlights were replaced; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed her that there were no recalls on the vehicle. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA campaign number: 09e025000 (exterior lighting) which she linked to the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 148,000.
All flashers stopped working in vehicle including hazard at 39,000 miles but makes the noise as if your signals are on. Checked fuses and it is not a fuse so it must be faulty equipment. The heated mirrors have not worked since day 1, I thought the car did not come with them until I saw the fuse when checking the signal lights.

Low beam lights are too dim to see at night.
Electronic malfunction occurred while driving. Power windows, air bags, windshield wipers, heads up display, climate control, lane assist, auto lights, seat warmers, lane assist and collision sensors not working. Since auto-lights feature not working, I had to manually turn on lights and after 20 minutes of driving, they shut off.
The windshield washer (won't spray) does not work. I thought I saw a previous recall for windshield wiper/washer on this vehicle??? it has never been repaired/replaced. Also, the high beams (exterior bright lights won't work) I only have low beams. Thanks for your help.

April 13, 2018 my 2013 Toyota Camry entire overhead center roof console box assembly had to be replaced. This was required due to excessive heat exposure causing warping, cracking and melting of the small grey plastic facing that houses the small black buttons: 3 garage door buttons, two interior inside light buttons flanked by the open / close and up / down buttons. This was never a problem in any extreme weather conditions since it was purchased as a new car until April 10, 2018. The issue occurred during hot whether where the car was parked in an open residential lot with and without a sun screen visor. The Toyota dealer inspected the assembly and stated that it was not able to detect an electrical malfunction. The dealer said this same issue occurred in 2 to 3 other Toyota Camrys at that dealership where the dealer was unable to establish an electrical problem. My concern is / was that the heat was so intense that the plastic framing about 3 by 5 was actually malleable to the point that I could straighten out the deformed pieces and push the frame back into position to hold in place until the next time it overheated and feel out of place. The car is not under extended warrant. But the safety concern is about some unknown cause of overheating that appears to be far more than hot weather conditions. The 2013 Toyota Camry entire overhead center roof console box assembly part no. Is 63650-06432-b0. I paid $223. 90 for the part and installation of the full assembly. No warranty or guaranty is offered by Toyota on the new installation should this reoccur any time soon. The dealer indicated that there are / have been recalls for the same issue on Toyota forerunners but not on 2013 Camrys. I believe that a potential electrical recall should be investigated for safety reasons. See 5 attachments.
On my 1999 Toyota solara I have to use high beams just to see, and my car went 90 mph before slowing up,my handicapped son was so scared! then it just cut off while driving. He had to coast to safety and now it needs a new motor !! recalls about these problems pertain to the 1999 solara and are critical. This is twice life was endangered and Toyota is doing absolutely nothing to help resolve this very serious issue . I guess they wait till someone dies in an accident before Toyota does what they should do to keep the public safe!!! my car is just sitting there , how much does Toyota care when they don't even replace the petal or excelleration problem?? let there family member be endangered and see ! but Toyota is slacking extremely on the quality of their vehicles!!! they need to be investigated for the dangerous cars they are putting on the road . And with no help from Toyota when a serious issues happens . They should be discrased by their poor performance to jepordize the american citizens . . Just to put more money in their pocket . Now I have no car to take my disabled son to his dr. !!! they have no idea how they effect a persons life who has limited funds and many medical needs. The dangerous situations we were put through driving the Toyota car scares me badly! I used to have faith in their product . But it's very sad when they have lost their caring about their product and making the american family happy and more important safety!!!! these dangerous vehicles should be stopped!! just one vehicle could hit a school bus full of precious children , leaving parents and grandparents and precious brothers and sisters left devastated for years to come!!! the pain goes on and on and effects many generations possibly thousands and thousands of innocent people over the greed of money from the Toyota big wigs !!!.
Red airbag alert indicator has come on. The car was not in motion. The engine was off, and whern I started it, the light came on!.
