1 Power Window problem of the 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Failure Date: 09/01/2012

I was driving on I-94 highway, tried to open my passenger side front window using my driver side door window switch. The switch did not work. About 30 seconds later my car filled with smoke and I saw the smoke coming out of the driver side door panel. I pulled over and after a couple minutes the smoke stopped. The window switch for the passenger side window does not work now.

2 Power Window problem of the 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Failure Date: 04/23/2012

While driving, the passenger window began to roll down on its own when I tried to roll the window back up using the master switch on the driver side, I noticed smoke coming from the button, upon closer inspection I could see actual flames underneath the button. I pulled over and turned the car off. The flame burned itself out inside the door panel. I took the car into a local Toyota deal and paid $500. 00 to repair the master switch.
