1 Engine Cooling System problem

Failure Date: 08/23/2009

When driving on I-355, many dashboard lights went up and car temperature is very high too. It is a brand new Toyota Corolla (<2000 miles). Had to tow it to the dealer and was told that a rodent chewed up ac and coolant tubes. Never heard of it. What a lousy design or parts that attract rodents.

2 Engine Cooling System problem

Failure Date: 03/14/2009

Our 2007 Toyota Corolla has a failure in the air conditioning system. After the winter, the a/c was turned on and it would not cool. Freon was put into the system and it cooled down again. However, a hissing noise was coming from the car after putting in the freon. Turns out there is a leak in the air conditioner's condenser. The TSB on the 2003 - 3005 Corolla indicated there was a problem with the air conditioning system. Supposedly, Toyota corrected this problem on future Corolla's, but evidently there is still a problem with it. We are having the condenser replaced.
