3 Warning Light On problem

Failure Date: 08/23/2017

Takada recall. My car warning light for the driver air bag is showing that the airbag is not operating. I called my Toyota dealer about the warning light. They are having me bring in the car for a diagnostic however they are saying that the airbag is not in stock and is only affecting places with high himidity. High temperatures also affect the airbag ability to inflate. They are going to perform a diagnostic but are now claiming it is a cable and will most likely charge me for the diagnostic. The air bag needs to be replaced weather Toyota has provided the part of not. Toyota is responsible and should have had these air bags available to be replaced in the cars on the recall list. I noticed the light on when starting the car and the light telling me that the passenger air bag is off did not go off as I drove. I called the dealership today 8/24/2017.

I am writing to see if my car's make/model/year should be included in the recent recall of 2003-2004 Toyota and Lexus cars, relating to inadvertent airbag deployment. About a week ago my airbag warning light came on and hasn't gone off since. After reading about these other model recalls today, and having had 6 other recalls performed on my car due to poor manufacturing, I think it is something the NHTSA should look into. I have contacted the Toyota customer service line but was told that for now, my car isn't included in the recall.
