"takata recall" there was no problem with the vehicle. This solely involves the nature of the recall. The 16v340000 recall does not provide for recall of 2011 Corollas that were sold and registered in zone c. Yet many owners live in the zone a area for part of the year typically for 4,5, or 6 months or more. If they did not change the registration to florida for example the vehicle would not be recalled yet would have been subject to zone a conditions for part of the year. In my case it has been six months for the last four years and four months for one year. I cannot find out if my vehicle has a takata airbag and, if it does is it one with the defective inflator.

"takata recall" I have received, by mail ( usps) that my Toyota is subject to a recall for front airbag inflators, and filing a complaint is necessary to to reach a settlement.
Takata inflators: I received a notice of possible metal fragments coming through the airbag once it deploys over a year ago and there is yet to be a remedy to replace the airbags. This is putting myself and my children in danger if any crash was to occur and this is our primary vehicle. It should not take this long to provide a remedy for replacement and even local dealerships are not educated on the recall.
Takata inflators, the recall was started on may 23, 2016. I never received a notification of the recall, and it is now August 8, 2017 and the recall as yet to have a remedy and be fixed.
Takata recall I believe Toyota has taken an unreasonable amount of time to resolve the takata inflator issue. The interim notice for the recall is dated may 23, 2016 on Toyota's website. I did not receive any direct (mail) correspondence until December 2016, in which the letter said to wait until a remedy becomes available. Since then, it has been a significant inconvenience to avoid having passengers ride in the front passenger seat.
Takata inflator. I received a recall notice for my front passenger airbag inflator in may 2016. It is now March 2017 and a repair is not yet available. According to the Toyota safety website, the anticipated remedy date is September 2017. This delay of well over a year is very frustrating, as I would like to be able to operate my car safely and use the front passenger seat.

"takata recall". Front passenger airbag inflators. I received the notice regarding this issue and have yet to receive a notice to. Take my car in to have this airbag replaced. I did not think it is fair that I have to wait until long- term exposure to environmental moisture & fluctuating high temperatures happen before the propellant in the airbags degrades causing an injury to my passenger/s I would like for Toyota to replace this airbag. I did not purchase this car to put my passenger/s safety at risk & I should not have to tell my passenger/s that they have to sit in the back. I am not a taxi or chauffeur.
Takata inflators: after reaching out to Toyota's website and speaking with alexandria in regards to how long it would take for my passenger airbag to be replaced and which phase/zone my car is in, I explained that not using my front seat in a smaller vehicle to transport my family of 5 in unacceptable and will not work for our needs. I then inquired about a loaner vehicle and was instructed to call my local dealership, which I did. At leith Toyota in raleigh, nc I spoke with jennifer (she also asked her manager or another employee) and I was told that they do not provide loaner vehicles during this recall for airbags. I am extremely upset and frustrated at the fact that I now can't transport my family to where we need to go in a day. This disrupts our daily life with work, school, sports and everything in between. I bought from Toyota because I believed that the quality and customer service was on point. Yes there can be recalls, I understand this, but provide a remedy!!! at this point, I feel that I am receiving the exact opposite and have a disabled vehicle that will now sit in my yard until this recall (of possibly 3 years!!!) is corrected. Unacceptable. You receive payments from this family on a vehicle I am unable to use as needed and is required of this family.
Takata recall, on July 23, 2016 I receive a letter from Toyota motor sales, inc about the Toyota recall of the front passenger airbag inflator (zone a) and no further comunications are receive since. I am very concerned about the problem beacause they said that untl the remedy becomes available they recomend that we do not operate the vehicle with an occupant in the front passenger. Aparently they are making corrections to new models and I want to know what happened with with my 2011 Toyota Corolla. I am using the vehicle daily in my home area and in the highway.
My car was recall for the NHTSA no. 16v-340, which means it has bad air bags, I have just found all these other recalls on my vehicle that I never knew, I took my car down to Toyota, they have no idea when they are going to have the airbag inflators so they said I could leave the car there and they would give me a car, my problem is what are they going to do with my vehicle, it might be months before they get the this problem fixed, now I find out that my car has all these other recalls and this is the first letter that I have ever received concerning this car. I need to know about every recall for this car so I can take it in and let them do the work for the prior recalls and just do what, just let my car sit there for months because they have no idea when they will have the passenger airbag inflator fixed, help! I need a safe car. I have to still pay for my car note and my insurance, my family and my pet as well as myself are at risk of serious injuries because of all of these things wrong with this vehicle. I thank god that we havent been injured by being in this car, I am taking it back ASAP. Who do I talk to about giving me a car to replace my car until they can fix everything wrong on this vehicle?.

Takata recall. I am one of the car owners impacted with the takata faulty passenger airbag inflator. I am on a temporary assignment to the USA and will need to leave to india shortly. So I need to sell my car before leaving. Can you please let me know how to go about it - as there is a pending recall available. I was able to get a replacement car from 01-July-2016 which my dealership has provided. If at all, the car dealer agrees to buy the car I will lose ~$2000 than what I would get by selling it to a 3rd party. So, can you please advise on how to proceed in this scenario. Please advise.

I received a notice of a takata airbag inflator recall on my vehicle. The notice was dated may 23, 2016. I tried contacting my Toyota dealer soon thereafter, but was informed that the replacement part was not yet available. I contacted them on other occasions, and was told the same thing. Today, June 14, 2017, someone contacted my Toyota dealer on my behalf, and was told that the part is still unavailable. The recall is to fix a defect that poses the threat of metal projectiles causing death to the passengers in the event of a collision. By failing to make the part available within a year, Toyota has failed to resolve this problem in a reasonable time, especially given the severity of the safety threat. Until the problem is resolved, I am deprived of the full use and enjoyment of my vehicle.
