Thecontact stated that after purchasing the vehicle a problem with the seats wasidentified. One of the problems iwasthe driver's side seat adjustment bar. The bar will not anchor on both sides after the seat has been repositioned. Has to press foot down on the floor board to slide the seat back into position. The dealer inspected the vehicle, and said that there was nothing wrong with the seats. The dealership checked other models and found that they all have this same condition with the driver's side seat. The manufacturer has not been contacted.

While sitting in the rear seat with legs extended out the passengers foot was badly cut on a sharp instrument which was used to move the seat back and forth. Took vehicle to the dealer. However, dealer examined the vehicle and found that the blood in the vehicle did belong to the passenger. Toyota still has the vehicle in their possession. However, nothing was done.

Consumer was rear ended, and the vehicle was pushed into a wall, while this was happening drivers and passengers seats broke, and consumer and passenger fell back. Consumer states she was traveling on the interstate at 60 mph, when a vehicle doing about 90 mph rear ended consumers vehicle causing the vehicle to spin out of control and hit a concrete wall, as a result both front seats collapsed to the back of the car, the consumer and passenger suffered injuries.
