I had to replace all four tires before reaching 40k miles. Brakes needed to be fully replaced with only two years of driving it. And engine maintenance light on for an issue with the coolant bypass valve, not covered under warranty. This is causing issues with the engine, when driving even at 25 miles per hour or at 65 the car sounds like its dragging or forcing itself, the wheel shake & car feels unbalanced even with a tire alignment. Overall I give the car a 2. 5 out 5 star in performance. The body of the car is so fragile and made by very cheap materials. Spending a fortune on this vehicle and it hasnt even reached 60k miles yet.
I have a manufacturer defect on my car. The piece of the car's body which goes around the tire and connects to the bumper does not connect right because there is not connector on the bottom of this piece, like there is on the rest of this piece. It often comes lose and it separates, which is very scary when I get out of my car and see that I have a piece of my cars' body separated from the body of the car. I'm scared when I take the freeway or bit a bump on the road. Please help me with this problem. Respectfully, anita fry.
I am making a complaint about my 2021 Corolla se because I am constantly running into issues that cost and are not my fault as to why these issues have come about. I bought my car in March 2021, in may 2021 my car hit a bump in the highway and cracked my rim and bust my tire. Luckily I have alloy and tire coverage so I did not have to come out of my pocket. Next, my two front tires are constantly wearing down on the inside of the tread making the wires be exposed and causing me to have a blow out or needing to replace my tires at least 4 to 5 times since I have had my car. My car only has 71,000 on it to need that many tires replaced. I go and get my car serviced where I purchased my car at the Toyota dealer so if I needed and alignment or tires rotated they would have let me know that and the only time I was informed I needed an alignment was when I got all new tires. Then, in November of 2022 my front lighting sytem when completely out ( signals lights, blinkers, brake lights, etc. I went to get it checked on and the dealer made me feel as if I had an entire electrical issue going on with my car and I would have to pay $160 x2 in order for them to just figure out what was wrong with my practically new vehicle. They came back and explained it was only a fuse and the fuse is $5 but still attempted to charge me for diagnostics. After this encounter I had to be ugly just to not come out of pocket for a large sum. At that visit there was an "engine malfunction" light on as well that they did not mend and continues to blink to this date. Prior to my last servicing appointment last week my entire radio system went out ( backup camera, radio, gps system, bluetooth). I was told at the dealer that I would have to pay $160 for them to diagnose my issue and and then pay for the repair. I asked my service manager if there were any recalls on my car for these issues and he stated no but as for the 2022-2023 models there are recalls. I need help with this.

My daughter was driving my car on the interstate the airbags deployed and hit her in the face, filled the car up with smoke, she couldn’t see anything she hit the iron poles that are together by cables. My car is totaled. My back tire broke completely off of the car. These cars aren’t built safe. I owned my car and now I’m without a car. Has anyone else ever had this happen? air bags deploying for no reason?.

The contact owns a 2020toyota Corolla. The contacts wife stated while driving approximately 65mph when the rear passenger side tire exploded without warning which resulted in the contact losing control of the vehicle and crashing into a retaining barrier. The contacts wife sustained chest bruises but did not seek medical treatment. The vehicle was towed to parking lot and a police report was taken. The contact stated tmps warning lights was illuminated. The vehicle was not taken into a local dealer to be inspected. The manufacturer was informed of failure and is awaiting a response. The failure mileage was approximately 6,000.
Recently my car was in an accident involving 2 other vehicles. An SUV in front of me rear-ended someone and then I rear-ended the SUV. We were in heavy traffic at a major intersection and were stopped at a red light. The light turned green and we began to move. We were accelerating from a stop and were maybe approaching 10 -15 mph. Traffic started to back up at the next light and so the first car stopped suddenly so as not to block the intersection. Then the driver in front of me crashed into that car. He was on his phone, not looking, and didn't have time to brake. I was about 2-3 car lengths behind when he came to a complete stop. I was also still accelerating, as were most cars, since the light had just turned green. As soon as the vehicle in front of me hit the other car and stopped moving, I immediately applied my brakes. Based on the distance I believe I should have been able to stop. I remember thinking there was plenty of room. Except that the abs came on and, instead of stopping my car before hitting the object in front of me (because the car is also capable of doing that), it just continued to let my car slide right into the back of the vehicle in front of me. I was then "at fault" according to my insurance company despite my explanation of the details. This led to a $500 deductible for repairs and an increase in my insurance rate. I honestly believe that the abs should not have activated in that situation. If the car is able to recognize and even stop for objects in front of it, why would it let me slide into another car? I've had similar situations with my other cars in the past and they always stopped quickly, often avoiding this very situation. To summarize, I feel that the antilock brake system in my car failed to act in a safe and appropriate manner, thus causing an increased risk of damage or injury to the vehicle and passengers. In my case it resulted in damage to my car and a lot of extra money to cover those damages. Thank you.
My son was driving on the freeway when one tire came off the wheel. He lost control and hit by truck on the passenger side. There's only 8000 miles on the car.
The clips on the front bumper above the wheel broke while driving and the bumper keeps falling off and never been in a wreck. Trying to start a class action suit because I talked to four others at the Toyota dealership who had the same problem.
My daughter was driving the car on the freeway and the 2 rear tires blow out the car only has 18k miles on it and I ask Toyota if the tires have a warranty and they said no so my daughter had to buy 3 new tires she spend 1200 also a sensor got damaged her car spin out of control she was lucky she didn't hit other car . What can I do abou this, please help my phone number is +18318401635.
1. Experienced sudden acceleration problem at a signal light 2. To control sudden acceleration, need to push brakes harder than a non hybrid car 3. In the reverse direction, it goes too fast without pushing the gas, this may cause a crash missing extra tire and the accessories (jack, lug wrench, other tools etc) even though there is a slotted place holder there. (shame on Toyota for doing this, to order a new kit this will cost approx $1,500 per missing kit, if you were to order individually, this can potentially be a serious personal safety issue if you're in a bad neighborhood and waiting for tow truck vs quickly change the tire and leave) 4. Cheap soft tires, got a screw within 2 months? called Toyota , towing is free, but you must pay for the flat repair or buy a new tire (about $250) every time there is flat as you do not have extra tire, jack, lug wrench. (this can be racketeering - shame on Toyota for doing this) 5. 2nd car (2021 hybrid) came with the low brake fluid levels, close to the low/middle vs brand new car with new brakes, fluid level should be close to maximum. (shame on Toyota for doing this and playing cheap, besides safety issue) 6. To repair flat tire, the air pump and glue kit is a joke, this doesn't work - Toyota should provide non-flat able tires before this genius mickey-mouse invention. (shame on Toyota for doing this).
Multiple times my car has slid on the pavement upon an abrupt stop. Deer in my travel routes are abundant. But on June 2, 2020 I heard a noise as I was driving. It appeared to be a suspension problem. I pulled over and inspected the car. The tire having over half it's tread threw a belt or had a huge bulge in the tire. It went from a noise to a load grumbling sound and a lot of vibration very quickly. The sliding was ongoing and I assumed because the car was small and light but never had this sliding effect from multiple other small cares I've owned. Then the tire bulge. I researched the tire and it appears cooper tire has major issues with their tires but this tire size I did not see as a recall. (mst p185/65r15 mc strategy bw 88t(n)) if I were on the interstate I could have lost control or flipped the car at a fast speed. Speed limit was 45mph where the tire separation happened. I'm now scared to death to even think of using a cooper tire. I can only imagine that as a novice driver this would cause multiple accidents. Fortunately I have driven professionally for multiple years and know to prepare for the extra 20 feet or more skid that is not preventable with these tires when stopping abruptly. The tire were professionally installed July 2, 2012 with 23126 miles on the odometer. Now miles are 46184. I can provide picture and tires purchase receipt if needed.

Driver side front wheel bearing has been replaced every year. The problem started in 2015. They will not even last full year. Now as of current 5/27/2020 today had to replace the driver side wheel bearing again. This ridiculous. Has cost lots of money. Maybe somebody should look into this issue. Starts making a grinding noise at 35mph and continues to get louder longer you drive it. But it does not occur when you are stopped.

Hi sir I have problems in adjust the angles that affect to my staring and speed the mechanical said I have to replace the rear sup frame that will cost about 900$.
After another driver failed to yield right-of-way, I experience a fault with the automated driving assist system which during a merge of two highways in California; and failure of road structures allowed an older passenger truck to hit the Toyota's driver's rear tire and wheel well at a high rate of speed without evasive, defensive or warning from the 2020 Corolla hybrids.
Purchase a set of pirelli p4 tires dot xl 886a 3017 195/65r15 six months ago and kept going back to fix the tire. It kept loosing air and going flat. So after the six months past I had a blow out of the same tire that was going flat. And it almost kill me.
Tl the contact owns a 2017 Toyota Corolla. While accelerating from a stop, the vehicle independently pulled to the left or right without warning. The vehicle was taken to sansone auto mall (located at 90-100 us highway 1, avenel, NJ 07001, (866) 809-9999) to be diagnosed, but a failure code could not be located. The contact was informed that the vehicle needed a wheel alignment. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 39,405.
When purchasing the car and leaving the car lot I heard a grinding/rubbing noise which sounds just like brake pads being worn as well as rotors. I contacted the car lot and they assured me it was from rust where it had sit. They had me take it to Toyota of kingsport and they evaluated stating it was rust. I still hear the rubbing or loudness after they replaced the rotors. Please recall.
I can't keep the ice buildup off my back tires due to a piece of plastic holding it up under the wheel wells. It's wearing my tires out faster. I have even pressure washed it and still can't get the ice to come out! this is going to cause my wheel wells to rust out faster by holding it under my wells. I have another Corolla and it doesn't have that plastic in the front part of the rear ties!.

Takata recall it was a regular Wednesday morning drive to my office. I was in highway 101 n and in the motion of approx 30mph due to traffic. Suddenly at around 8am, due to the traffic ahead I had to brake my car. My car was halt at a safe distance from the car ahead of me when I heard the emergency beep of my car and while I was being confused as to why the beep went off because my car was at a safe distance of the car ahead of me, my car was severely hit from behind. The impact was so severe towards the trunk that my car was dragged forward such that the front of my car went onto hit the back of the car that was at a safe distance from my car. This was followed by shift of my car from the second lane where the impact took place to the third lane of the highway. My car was totaled because of this accident. During this accidental event my front car and back car both air bag deployed except my car air bag didn't get deployed and because of this I went through serious multiple injuries causing some long term bodily damages.
This is not a real complaint. This is a test.
Grinding noise when braking and reversing in car under 25 miles on odometer. Have gone to several dealerships and have been tldthat I am braking too hard (seriously in a new car??) & window paeenger side front makes noise while going up and down they said they lubricated it but now its making more noise. .
Abs and traction control not functioning. Indicator light on. Air bag recall due to metal possibly killing driver or passenger is more likely to happen because the abs and traction control not working.

On Wednesday, August 30th 2017 at approximately 3:00pm I was traveling on interstate 459 north in the far-right lane and hit a large pothole about 150 yards before I-65 overpass. After swerving to maintain control I pulled over to the right shoulder and called Toyota care (roadservice). The event I experience caused a bent wheel rim and flat tire. I am requesting a reimbursement of my cost to replace my wheel rim and tire. The potholes were filled by the time I was able to take pictures on Sunday September 3re 2017.
