1 Power Door Locks Not Working problem of the 2011 Toyota Prius

Driver side door lock failed and shortly thereafter the front passenger door lock also failed. We have owned a total of five Prius vehicles since 2007 and have never experienced this problem before this dual failure. Judging from the number of complaints on this site and info gathered during internet research it appears this is a widespread problem, most likely due to poor quality or defective door lock actuators. A google search (Toyota Prius "door lock" failure) resulted in a quarter million results.

2 Power Door Locks Not Working problem of the 2013 Toyota Prius

Failure Date: 03/01/2014

Tl-the contact owns a 2013 Toyota Prius. The contact stated that the steering wheel pulled to the left and right while driving and had to be pulled with force to stay in lane the doors lock also failed the locks activated on its own and sometimes does not unlock with the electronic control. The dealer attempted to correct the steering wheel failure by performing an alignment however the failure was not corrected. The doors lock failure was not corrected. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure mileage was 50. Li.
