4 Cruise Control problem of the 2015 Toyota Sequoia

Failure Date: 10/08/2017

Toyota complaint, dangerous computer program, can cause death. Toyota programs the car computer to post a "maintenance required" sign to pop up on the dash. It has a "red triangle" also to get your attention. The sign stays on constantly until you take your vehicle into Toyota to be serviced. This sign is very very distracting while driving because you can not see your speed that is hidden by the sign when you try to set your cruise control. I have run off the road several times while trying to adjust my cruise control and could not see it because of the maintenance sign. It is a very dangerous sign and Toyota should remove it from the computer program. I hope someone files a class action law suit against Toyota to force Toyota to remove the maintenance reminder sign from the computer. Rolin choate, sunlion@msn. Com.

5 Cruise Control problem of the 2007 Toyota Sequoia

Failure Date: 10/01/2016

My vsc trac, trac off and check engine lights all came on yesterday. I was driving so I'm not sure if they all came on at the same time or not. The brake does not over ride cruise control on highway. So it will continue gas up even you use brake under cruise control mode. This is pretty disappointing since this problem has been seen all the way back to the first generation.

6 Cruise Control problem of the 2004 Toyota Sequoia

Failure Date: 02/24/2012

My Toyota Sequoia sr5 is showing some lights in dashboard. First it was the vsc solid light coming on then off on it own, after some months, the airbag light came on then off then solid on, I went to the Toyota dealer to get it check out, and they couldn`t find what is making the airbags light to come on. More recently, I started having a cruise control problem as well. The cruise control will sometimes work and also some other time refuse to work unless you turn the steering wheel over and over again and then it will sometimes kick -in. I have also noticed that the car will loose power while simply driving it, when it does so, the system will still be running but simply will get weak no matter how much gas you`re giving to the pedal. I hope to have this issues investigated since Toyota doesn't really address them when I call them. Warm regards,.
