Two months prior to this we were driving approximately 40 mph on a back road and the left front tire blew out. 3 Tire Tread/belt problem of the 2005 Toyota Sequoia

Failure Date: 09/10/2007

The dunlop at20 tires on my 2005 Sequoia have been wearing excessively on the edges from the time that I first purchased the vehicle new. I have had the tires rotated, and the front end aligned at 17,000 miles to try to slow down the uneven wear on the tires. All the servicing was done by the Toyota dealership in frederick, MD. With 27,000 miles on the vehicle the tires need to be replaced as the tread on the edges have worn to an unsafe level and I can't corner the vehicle without the tires squealing. This seems ridiculous in that the tires were properly cared for and the vehicle was maintained and the tires have prematurely failed.

4 Tire Tread/belt problem of the 2002 Toyota Sequoia

Failure Date: 12/22/2006

Left rear tire tread separation on dunlop grand trek at 21265/70/r16 on Toyota Sequoia 2002, while traveling at 65 mph. I don't know exactly yet if the vehicle is total loss or if can be repaired because as consequence of tread separation the vehicle lost control and crashed into the concrete wall and is badly damage. My daughter and I were injured, but not too bad but. In addition the air bags did not come out after the impact. I am looking for some legal advise to see if dunlop company will honor my loss and Toyota company. I bought this SUV as "certified use vehicle" and the expiration date will be on 2008.

7 Tire Tread/belt problem of the 2003 Toyota Sequoia

Failure Date: 01/01/2004

The contact owns a 2003 Toyota Sequoia. The contact stated that there was a recall on the lower ball joints. Recall repairs were done. But the contact felt that this recall problem caused the tires to wear out on the outside of the tread. The service dealer stated that this would not be caused from the recall, but the consumer felt that it was. If it was not related to the recall, then the consumer felt that it may be due to a defect within the tire or another defect within the suspension system. The contact stated the tires were rotated every 5,000 miles. The manufacturer referred the consumer to arbitration, but this could take up to 60 days.
