The contact owns a 2004 Toyota Sienna. The shoulder portion of the seat belt binds in the bezel trim piece. The affected seat belt bezel is located on the shoulder portion on the front driver side seat. The seat belt binds in the bezel, and the extra webbing results in an improperly fitted seat belt on the driver. The powertrain was unknown. The failure mileage was 26,000 and current mileage was 28,000.

Due to location defective rear left side shoulder belt got stuck in a "locked" position when it was not suppose to be in that position. Child got tangled in the locked shoulder belt since shoulder belt buckle was at the child's neck, which almost strangled the child, the mother had to cut the shoulder belt inorder to get the child out. There have been problems with the seatbelt system regarding it locking up when it's not suppose to. Please provide further information.

The shoulder belts in the middle row lock up instantly when first put on by the passenger. The belt stays locked up and binds the passenger(s) in the seat. The left side seat belt was replaced by the dealership about 2 weeks ago. There was no change in the seat belt. The belt continunes to lock up.
