The contact owns a 2025 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated that while attempting to defrost the windshield on several occasions during the winter months, the windshield defroster failed to operate properly. The vehicle was taken to a dealer on two separate occasions and remained there for weeks. However, the dealers were unable to determine the cause of the failure and were awaiting approval from the corporate office to proceed with the diagnostic test. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 17,000.
