I was at a tea intersection and I needed to pull into traffic. This is the second time it’s happened by the way. And the traffic was pretty heavy, but if I really put on the grass, I’d be able to get into my lane no problem and as I was going to get into the lane and merge in the traffic, the gas shut off the brake warning went on because cars were coming at me to my left. I believe it’s the Toyota safety sense that stopped the gas into my car. The throttle was nonresponsive for a second or so, and it almost caused an accident the dealership has been made aware and the shop foreman says it’s a problem with Toyota safety sense and they told me they documented it when I brought my car in.

Both passenger seats by controls plastic cracking. Infotainment center blacks out and marker bars and back up lines for both back up and front parking have disappeared. Gps even when linked to my phone screen will black out but phone gps will still work. I have complained about this multiple times. Toyota did a factory reset on it and didn’t fix the issue took it back and a tech had to re-install program said the infotainment center has a known issue where it forgets the program. I also informed Toyota about the engine seems to be really sluggish when at a complete stop and then start again taking a few seconds to go along with shifting hard from stop and go. Toyota did say they saw what I saw and this usually happens when people double foot pedals. I told them I don’t do that. I am frustrated and don’t know what to do I have a 72k truck that just turned 17k miles on it with a lot of issues what will I have to deal with down the road once the warranty is up? I love Toyota but this time seems like I got a lemon from Toyota with all the issues and continued rising issues.

Nhtsa safety recall delay complaint complainant: [xxx] state: illinois vehicle: •year/make/model: 2023 Toyota Tundra sr5 crew max •VIN: [xxx] •current mileage: approx. 16,000 miles recall number: Toyota safety recall 25tb06 dealer holding vehicle: romeoville Toyota 684 s. Weber road romeoville, IL 60446 ________________________________________ description of the safety issue and delay I am filing this complaint to report an excessive and unreasonable delay in remedying a safety-related recall on my vehicle. My 2023 Toyota Tundra sr5 crew max has been out of service at an authorized Toyota dealership (romeoville Toyota) since June 18, 2025 due to Toyota safety recall 25tb06. As of today, the vehicle has remained unrepaired for 224+ days with no confirmed completion date. Despite repeated inquiries, neither the dealership nor Toyota has provided a definitive timeline for completing the recall repair. While a rental vehicle has been provided, I remain without access to my own truck and have experienced an extended loss of use far exceeding what would be considered reasonable for a safety recall remedy. A manufacturer safety recall is intended to correct a defect within a reasonable period of time. A delay exceeding seven months leaves the consumer without their vehicle and raises concerns about Toyota’s ability to timely and adequately remedy safety defects once a vehicle is removed from service. This prolonged delay undermines the purpose of a safety recall and places an unfair burden on the consumer. I am requesting that NHTSA review this matter and intervene to ensure Toyota motor north America provides a timely and appropriate remedy, including repair completion or alternative relief. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Recall has not been completed a year later.
Purchased a 2014 Toyota Tundra on facebook marketplace from an individual on 4/27/2025 the seller represented the mileage as 88,461 miles, but after reviewing the vehicle history through carfax/autocheck, I discovered that the actual mileage is significantly higher. The odometer appears to have been rolled back. I have filed a police report regarding this fraud and am submitting this complaint to report the tampering. I have supporting documentation including the listing, communication with the seller, and the vehicle history report.

Catastrophic failure of lta, cross traffic, blind spot sensors in rear bumper guard. Dealer verified. Informed 3rd 2023 Toyota Tundra 4x4 1794 edition affected at dealership. Known issue. Part back ordered 2 weeks. Awaiting vehicle repair.
The new Tundra most of the features are controlled by the 14-inch infotainment screen. The screen has gone completely dark and irresponsive to touch, power on/off, and hard reset by the dealership. Given that so many of the truck's safety features are controlled in this system, the vehicle is unsafe to operate. I have taken the vehicle to the dealership for service and beyond the hard reset (disconnect and reconnect the battery) which they've done, they are unable to diagnose what the problem is or how to fix it.
The pre-collision does not work at all.
