Takata recall. The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Yaris. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 16v340000 (air bags), 14v168000 (air bags), 14v169000 (seats) and 12v491000 (visibility) and stated that the parts needed for the repairs were not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Yaris. The contact stated that upon exiting the vehicle, she noticed that she received a sunburns while sitting in the vehicle and was not sunburned before entering the vehicle. The failure recurred whenever the contact was seating in the vehicle for extended periods of times. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer and the contact was informed that the vehicle was performing up to standard. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 55,000.
