Takata recall. No available remedy to repair from vw.
Takata recall since there is a chance that my driver airbag won't get activated in case of an accident, I am very concerned of my safety. This Cc is the 4th vehicle I lease from vw since 2009. In the interim , until vw and takata decide on the resolution of this major defect, who is responsible for my possible injuries/death in case of an accident? shouldn't vw be more concerned of my safety while they resolve the problem? shouldn't they give me a temporary vehicle to drive meanwhile? it is potentiolly a life-threatening situation. What are my right in that case?.

Takata recall. I received the recall notice dated April 2016 that indicated that I would be notified when the parts would be available. Now 16 months later and no additional information. I called vw customer service and the local dealer but still no help. Vw told me to wait 2/3 weeks. That was 2 months past.
Takata recall: I was notified in April that my car was one that had a defective airbag that could potentially explode and kill me (nice). It is now mid way through August in GA ( high risk/humidity state) and I am still being told there is no time frame as to when the parts will be available. This to is unacceptable seeing as this is my only form of transportation (can't rent a car for a year).

Takata recall I have repeatedly contacted my Volkswagen dealership regarding replacing my airbags as per NHTSA recall 16v078. I have been trying since April 2016 when I received notification. As per your warnings I am greatly concerned to be driving this vehicle. When can I expect parts to be available to address this safety recall.
Takata recall. Volkswagen has no information on when this recall will be fixed. I was notified in April 2016 that the airbag in my car was one of the ones that needed to be replaced and was potentially a life threatening situation. I have been very patient in waiting for this recall to be addressed and it has not. In speaking with a Volkswagen representative this morning at their headquarters I was advised that they have no idea when this will be done. I find that a little concerning. I leased this vehicle in good faith and have not been given any information as to when this will be taken care of or any alternatives I have since this is a lease and it is not something I can just go trade-in for another vehicle. I would really like to know that Volkswagen is doing everything they can to take care of their customers. I am getting the impression that this is not the case.

5/2/2016 - los angeles, CA takata recall - there are no options given to us at this time knowing that metal fragments can cause injury or death to myself. I don't feel safe driving my vehicle and want either another car to drive or the option to get out of my lease. I feel unsafe and scared to drive my vehicle. And this is unfortunate because I do love my car. I have called Volkswagen and my dealership and no one is doing anything about it.

Takata recall vw issued an intent to recall my car approximately 6 months ago. Vw claims they still do not have the parts to perform the necessary repair. 6 months is an unreasonable amount of time to drive a car with an issue that can cause severe injury or death. Honda is providing rental vehicles until certain cars can be fixed. Vw has communicated nothing further.

Takata recall. It has now been close to 12 months since the recall was announced, but there is still no remedy on how to repair the problem.
It's been more then 8 months since the first recall was reported on my 2013 vw Cc airbag. I'm driving about 280 miles per week with a vehicle that is deemed unsafe to drive. I even went to my local sunset vw dealership to trade in my vehicle for a used Lexus. I received a very low offer for my vehicle and was told the dealership will not sell a vehicle with a recall on it would go directly to auction. That's the reason for the low offer. The vw manufacturer should at least take some of the burden of the decreased values of the vw vehicles.
