2 Car Will Not Start problem of the 2010 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 08/29/2018

Vehicle was serviced at 180k by vw dealership; a premium service was selected; engine light came on as I was taking it in; the vehicle previously did turn off while on the highway on its own which then needed to be restarted. The car jerked as if my spark plugs were having issues. Have had to change spark plugs frequently compared to normal wear and tear. I was told it was the air/cam sensor (as a recommendation from the dealership) the car had been running sluggish but normal prior to it getting serviced. The car was ready for pick up and engine light was cleared. Car was driven about 35mi from dealership to place of residence. Car performed normal. Next day went to turn on the vehicle and it would not start. It did start long enough that I could use my own code reader the vehicle had 15 errors according to the reader. I let the car sit for a month before I could tow it to the dealership where it was serviced. Vw is now saying they don't know what is wrong with the vehicle. Camshaft is what they are looking at . Another possibility vw explains is massive engine failure.

3 Car Will Not Start problem of the 2012 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 11/25/2017

Over the last several weeks (3-4) I've observed the Cc straining (as if the battery doesn't have the amps) to start the vehicle. This past weekend the car wouldn't start and I can't charge the battery enough to produce the cranking amps to turn it over. The local vw dealership states that they have not received instructions as to how to diagnose or repair the vehicle at this time. We have less than 45000 mile on the Cc - this shouldn't be an issue for this vehicle. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Vehicle will not start. Message indicates "steering wheel column lock". This happens intermittently. This is a known problem with other vw models, but dealership won't cover it, and general manager is acting as if he doesn't know this issue exists with other models.

8 Car Will Not Start problem of the 2010 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 03/19/2015

Car would not start but battery was good. Issue seems to be localized to the transmission as it eventually started after messing around with the shift lever. After starting I was unable to shift out of park and I think this is a sensor locking the shiftier.
