The contact owns a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start and the air bag and brake indicators illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or diagnosed. 2 Car Will Not Start problem

Radio on 2010 vw Jetta tdi died durring the summer. Now, in November, the car will not start unless jumped with another car or battery charger. Fuses in car are intact.

3 Car Will Not Start problem

Failure Date: 11/01/2015

Door locks failed and had to be replaced. Battery drain when not used for two weeks, requiring jump start (replaced battery one year ago). Car would not start (battery wouldn't even turn over, yes the same new battery) towed to dealer who said they replaced some fuses. Recently, radio will not power on. Dealer states the radio failed, fuses fine. I have seen 100s of reports of failed radios and door locks in the 2010 Jetta. There must be a faulty electrical system in this vehicle. Cars that are 5 years old (I have seen reports of this happening when the car is only 3 years old) are not supposed to have these problems. All of these problems have occurred in the past year, mileage between 100-110k.

4 Car Will Not Start problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2013

I was driving on the highway and the check engine light came on. The vehicle would not hold speed or accelerate. I pulled off the highway and the vehicle stalled out and would not restart. We replaced the high pressure fuel pump and fuse box. The car still will not start after a new fuel pump and fuse box, and we have been told that the wiring harness needs to be replaced.

5 Car Will Not Start problem

Failure Date: 02/21/2013

The vehicle had driven fine all day when all of a sudden when I pulled up to a stop sign, the car died like it was running out of gas. I was in the middle of a the road at the stop sign, the car managed to start again and drive another couple hundred feet to get it off to the side of the road. Luckily I made it just past a set of rail road tracks. The car did not start again and had to be towed. The vehicle had its entire fuel injection pump system replaced along with the sensors. Mechanics have told me that the pumps should last the life of the engine.
