215/60/r16- replaced 6 tires all under 2500 miles of use. Have all receipts. The tires were always losing air even with being brandy new, would slide with brand new tread and it did not have to be raining. I spent a lot of money on the tires to only go with a different brand finally after going to have to replace 4 more tires under the 2500 mark, yes I had the warranty for free replacement. But discount tires deemed the sentury touring tires a road hazard. I also have pictures of how they looked even with air in them. I purchased them from a discount tire store as well. They have all my documents on file to prove my statement. Sentury company needs to investigated on their tire quality as the tires could have caused blow outs and killed my family or myself or even another person. As you can see in the picture yes they are dirty, but plenty of tread. These tires are supposed to be reliable for 40k miles. These were either the second or 3rd replacement for this brand depending on what part of the car, either front or back. And again not even 2500 miles did they last.

These tires were on 2017 vw Passat on 19” aftermarket wheels driven by my son. Previous tires of different brand had flats on passenger side one month earlier. On July 26, 2022 the new tire had blowout on driver rear location causing vehicle to lose traction spin and crash into wooded area on side if I 75 south of tampa. My concern is these aftermarket wheels had three flats in three week period. Two different brands of tires on same 19” aftermarket rims.
Purchased new atlas tire from an authorized atlas tire dealer. Once tires were mounted and balanced, there was a slight vibration around 70 mph. The tire was then re-balanced and had pressure applied. It was found the tire to have a thin side wall causing the tire not to balance and putting the driver at risk with a premature failure. The company as not followed there warranty and will not respond to an on-going email with their representatives.

I purchased tires for my 2008 vw Passat turbo 4 door sedan. I selected four cooper cs4 touring tires. I bought them about a month ago, September 17, 2012. Almost immediately after the installation of the cooper tires, I noticed a pulsating noise when the steering wheel is turned either left or right; the noise frequency is a function of speed. So, two days later, I brought the car back to the dealer. A mechanic checked the tires, wheels, and mounting; he could find nothing obviously wrong. So, I took the mechanic for a ride. He heard the noise, and told me that it would disappear after the tires were broken in or worn in. The noise has seemed to increase of late. I am concerned that the tires may be defective. What do you think?.

Tire pressure issues with Volkswagen vehicles. I purchased this vehicle back in 2007 and about nearly a month after purchase I have had issues with tire pressure. No one from the vw dealer I purchase the car from or another vw dealer can tell me what the issue is. The refrain is there is nothing wrong with the tires. Each month up until July I have to put air in my tire, when I reached the 50k marker and tires were rotated I have to inflate the tire every 3-4 days.

At around 12:30 todd mcfadden (store manager of dunn tire llc 1170 central Ave. Dunkirk, NY 14048) advised to [xxx] (tire tech) to apply a tire that had been run on flat for an unknown distance on a customers car with out the consent or even having informed the customer of this 2000 vw Passat. [xxx] refused said labor and the order was carried out by another individual of the company. [xxx] was dismissed from his duties for the day after refusing the labor. He advised to the store manager as well as the district manager that this practice was unsafe and could potentially be deadly to the installer of the tire as well as to the driver and passengers of the vehicle. Being a nys licensed shop they have a duty to keep the customer safe to the best of their abilities and that did not happen today. In an effort to make this as short as possible, I bought 4 new continental contiproco tires in June 2009 for a 99 vw Passat. After driving less than 7k miles, while traveling in the middle lane of a major highway about 65 mph the right rear tire separated into 3 pieces. I did not hit anything that I know of and pulled off the road immediately. It was similar to a truck retread tire that separates and you see on the road all the time. Continental will replace the tire but quite honestly I don?t trust their products at this time. If this occurred on a front tire, I would have rolled over.

I leased a new vw Passat in 2006. The tires wore out in 21,000 even though they were properly inflated and basically driven on interstate highways. I have never had tires that lasted less than 35k.

2005 Passat air conditioner failure, blows cold air intermittently. Customer states that it blows cold air intermittently then will stop for no reason and blow ambient temperature air. ** the dealer replaced various parts within the ac unit, however the consumer continued to experience ac failure. The consumer believed there was a serious problem with the electrical system or the wiring harness. The consumer stated he replaced two tires due to extreme cupping.
Bought the car new and have had to deal with defective tires, defective ignition coils causing two major breakdowns at highway speeds with children in the car. The last two ignition coils were recalled. The car will not run if it is wet from heavy rain and has to be completely dried before the breaks work properly. Oil pump was replaced 14 months ago, another major breakdown on highway with children. It has broken down yet again. . . The dealership says it needs another oil pump because of sludge, about $2000, not under warranty because it is past the 12 month, 12,000mile mark. Two other private mechanics told me, replacing the oil pump would only disguise, temporarily the real issue. . . . The engine is junk. It now sits in my driveway because it is not under warranty because I am missing some oil change receipts. Also the blinkers don't work, the rear door won't open, auto locks work intermittently and headlights have been replaced twice and are out again. This was the first new car I ever bought. I bought the car after a divorce because I wanted a dependable car to commute to work and transport my children safely. The car has 85,00 mi.

I have owned my Passat for 17 months, I have replaced tires twice, and have had a total of three flat tires, two of which were the r rear. I read other complaints in regards to the r rear tire. Notified my dealer, they wouldn't do anything, stated that I would have to contact the tire company. Well, two different brand tires, and still the same problems.
I have had 2 tires separate in the last two months. Prior to this recent event I had another tire separation and was given replacement tires instead of a refund. The las event has left substantial damage to my car. I have both of the old tires and pictures of my car damage. I have contacted a lawyer akd he is the one that instructed me to file a complaint with you.

The serviceman at the sioux falls sears told me he had adjusted several other identical michelin tires for the very same problem. I am concerned about the other tires on my car and that we may have a defective batch of tires here. Vw was contacted but has refused to repair the damaged molding under warranty. Problems getting recall repairs appointment scheduled. (nar).
Original tires on vehicle goodyear eagle GA m+ s size 215-50r15 have a failed resulting in flat tires.
I own a vehicle that is subject to recall program 02v026000, which I learned about from consumer reports magazine. I have not received a recall notice from volkagen , so I called the Volkswagen customer service line (800-822-8987). I was told this is not an actual recall. Their spokesman said they are just informing consumers not to drive on a flat tire as possible damage could occur. He said there would be no fuel leak or other danger. Is this an actual recall, should I take immediate action, and should vw pay for the corrective action?.
