*events leading up to - random *failure - transmission shifting out of gear - no throttle response- then slamming into gear. Hard down shift / up-shift. * throttle body replaced, cvvt solenoid cleaned, tranny fluid changed. . . . No correction to problem.
01 Volvo V70 wgn : trans begins banging in downshift in '07. Comes and goes until mid '09 when had trans "fixed" by trans shop. (solenoids valves replaced) still banging ,but much less pronounced. Also no delayed shifts going forward as prior to fix. Check engine light just came on,so the journey continues(or doesn't) with 01 Volvo trans. Got the feeling this should be a recall item. Class action anyone?.
