1 Gasoline Fuel System problem

Failure Date: 12/31/2019

The contact owns a 2002 Volvo V70. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 mph, there was an abnormal fuel odor inside the vehicle. The contact pulled over and inspected the gas cap and the vehicle but found no fuel leaks. The contact stated that the fuel odor was not outside of the vehicle. The vehicle was driven to the residence. The vehicle was not taken to be diagnosed nor repaired. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer were notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 198,000.

2 Gasoline Fuel System problem

My 2002 Volvo xc 70 seems to smell like gasoline inside the car. I have read on numerous Volvo forums regarding Volvo owners that has the same or similar concerns.
