It has been very cold here in germany. Our temperatures have dropped below zero. I went outside on the 20th to clean off the snow from my car. I walked upon my drivers side window shattered into a million pieces. My car was towed to the dealer only to find it's not under warranty. I love my Volvo, I have only had it for two months and now we have to come out of the pocket for something that happened weather related.

Rear window in 2010 Volvo Xc60 exploded after small impact into thousands of very sharp shards (not the "pebbles" as is supposed to happen). Shards were sent throughout the cabin including to the passenger seats, windscreen, speedo, etc. This does not seem the appropriate way for tempered glass to behave.
