1 Steering Pinion Shaft problem of the 2005 Volvo XC90

The contact owns a 2005 Volvo Xc90. The contact stated that while driving various speeds, the vehicle would jerk and the turning signals failed. The contact stated that the electronic power steering system, srs air bag service, anti-skid, and the immobilizer warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the central electronic module, rack and pinion nut, and pinion shaft needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure and current mileage was 139,419.
