Transmission Shudder Problems of Acura TL

Radual acceleration elicits the symptoms of shudder and tach hunting the transmission hesitates and shudders when shifting into 2nd and 3rd gears. Driving to work 128 mass highway.

I have 2010 Tl ah-awt with 6 speed manual. The third gear on this car has being acting up. During a cold start, when car has being sitting over night, in the morning, then I?m shifting from second gear to third, one of all of the following happens: car doesn't want to shift to 3rd gear. It takes a lot of effort to push it into the 3rd gear. 2. The car shifts into the third gear, by the shift lever, it looks like it has shifted into the third. Once the clutch is let out slowly, the transmission starts to grind. Sometimes, it even pushed the shift lever to neutral. I have about 11,000 miles on my car. I bought is end of December 2009. I took this car to dealer in mcgrath Acura, westmont, IL to have it checked out. They told me there is nothing wrong with it. The problem with this issue is that it happens randomly. I tried to see when it happens and it has no regular occurrence. I have searched blogs online to see if other people are having the same problem. I was satisfied with this car until recently. Presently having a problem with front end vibration. Changed and balanced tires, plus alignment. Problem still continues. Returned car to dealer for recheck and was informed that the vibration is my transmission going bad. Approx. 66000 miles on the car. If this is the case something needs to be done.

Transmission seem to vibrate severely when shifting in second gear I was told that this is under recall to be fixed free of charge up too and under 100,000 miles and it is under. I was shocked to hear the complaints on this but I was not aware due to Honda/Acura always standing by there product. Please tell me what I can do I heard gear chipping can result leading to transmission lock up and possible crash which can always result as fatal!!.

Transmission shudder at 35-50 m. P. H while transmission is shifting through gears.

Dt: consumer states he has an intermittent shuddering when the transmission shifts. The dealer cannot duplicate the problem. He says Acura knows there is a transmission problem/ they have extended the warranty to 100,000 miles. He has 66,000 miles on the car. He states this problem started happening around 55, 000 miles. Consumer states he is afraid that the problem will get worse and the car will break down while he is far away from home. The vehicle was recall prior to this failure for the transmission overheating. The dealer installed and addition pump to rectify that problem. The consumer believes this problem is related to the recall repairs made.
