BMW 325 owners have reported 4 problems related to engine head gasket leaking (under the engine and engine cooling category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Oil filter housing gasket leaked on to alternator causing the alternator to over heat and melt internal components which causing lack of power and multiple false check engine codes to come on and smoke clouded my view while driving so very common problem is the heater core leaking too.

Cylinder head gasket is leaking oil due to faulty broken alluminum bolt. Three bolts on the forward right side of the engine is broken maybe due to engine stress. Oil is leaking to the exhaust and I'm afraid it will cause fire. I read in the furom with the same problem. BMW should make a recall about this problem.
Engine valve cover gasket leaking oil and oil filter housing leaking oil since last year.
Saw oil on the asphalt so took car to the dealership. Technician looked over the car and found vanos profile gasket is leaking oil. Valve cover gasket is leaking. Replaced vanos profile gaskets and valve cover gasket.
